This build takes a good amount of skill to use effectively against bosses, but makes very quick work of champions -- primarily due to the Kinetic Synthesis artifact mod which grants ammo and more damage from doing damage with a kinetic weapon. For The Chaperone, you will see an absurd amount of ammo generated from this mod.

Picking up this ammo will automatically reload The Chaperone and grant even more damage to it! It also grants a small chunk of ammo special and heavy ammo progress.

The Frost Armor change from all stack dropping when the time expires, to each stack falling off one-at-a-time allows The Chaperone to retain its damage bonus from No Back Up Plans WAY LONGER on top of longer periods of damage resistance! The build gains Frost Armor from the Facet of Purpose fragment on orb pickup.

This build has several ways of gaining the following Defensive Buffs:

• Amplified from rapid Arc weapons final blows or melee final blows through the Knockout Aspect
• Frost Armor from the Facet of Purpose fragment
• Void Overshield from Shield Throw hits and/or final blows or The Unbreakable Aspect.

The No Back Ups Plans exotic gauntlets allow all defensive buffs listed above near infinite uptime from either shotgun or melee final blows when these buffs are active! For Amplified and Frost Armor, the timer is reset on shotgun or melee final blow. For Void Overshield, the timer is reset and you regain all lost overshield back on shotgun or melee final blow!

I opted for the Dimensional Hypotrochoid Stasis Wave Frame Grenade Launcher for its great add-clear capabilities, its stasis crystal shattering on large groups of combatants, and most importantly its shield-breaking capabilities --procing Disruption Break for quick swapping to The Chaperone for an additional 50% Kinetic Damage Vulnerability on the target for 5.5 seconds!
