Welcome to MrRonit's Solar + Strand Hybrid Build
In Edge of Fate Devil's Ruin the exotic solar sidearm got a huge buff and now pairs insanely well when you can suspend enemies as it will cause ignitions.
As a result we pair this with the exotic warlock chest piece Mataiodoxia which lets your arcane needles suspend enemies. As a result you will be constantly suspending and igniting enemies with this combo!
With prismatic we can get devour through and feed the void which can be triggered by arcane needle kills and hellion kills. We also have restoration through facet of purpose. You can also use the strand super Needlestorm instead of Song of Flame so you get woven mail instead if you feel restoration is overkill. Our grenade weakens enemies
And then on top we have transcendence which keeps the ability spam going and the super Song of Flame which lets you cause even more ignitions.
The Collective Psyche 4 piece Doppler Effect bonus (from the raid) is one set to aim for - it makes suspend and unravel last longer on enemies and *restoration last longer for yourself.
This is one of the coolest combos I've ever used to create a super powerful hybrid build!
1) Fire arcane needle and kill marked enemy 2) Suspend enemies 3) Use Devil's Ruin to kill suspended enemies and trigger ignitions 4) Get Firesprites to use Devil's Ruin High Power Laser Mode for more ignitions 5) Fire off grenades and use transcendence/supers whenever necessary
