Build Details
Chorus dawn solar warlock -- -= Normal playstyle section =- - use the hipfire yeartide apex smg (yeartide advised) to spread scorch and kill ads. Throw grenade into larger crowds or more tanky mobs to scorch all around and do big damage. Melee long range for small groups of enemies or more tanky mobs if you want to try ignitions. Phoenix dive whenever because it comes back very quickly, gives you your solar buddy (hellion) and is one of your main sources for healing along with picking up orbs of power.
-= Boss damage section =-
- Start with phoenix dive to heal and get hellion.
- Throw grenade at bosses feet (or lower half), then follow up with celestial fire melee ability to scorch even further.
- By this point your grenade should have exploded and should not be a problem of self damage so you need to move forward towards the boss and shoot them with Tractor Cannon
- Start super (Daybreak super) and mash the shoot button for the projectiles that (with Chorus dawn) now scorch further and do more damage. By this point you should have gotten several ignitions and weaken adds 30% damage buff to all outgoing damage from tractor cannon.
- After your super ends immediately Phoenix dive again (it comes back automatically after super ends) for hellion to restore and to get health back, then Tractor cannon again.
- NOW, hit boss with Tractor Cannon again, shoot boss with smg but only one or two rounds to prock bait and switch on mint retrograde, then shoot mint retrograde at the boss as much as you can with bait and switch procked and while the boss is weakened taking 30% more damage. Mint retrograde with get your super back very fast, not fast enough to pop it again before the damage phase is over, but by the end of damage phase your super should be just about back.
CHECK NOTES SECTION* (gameplay loop)
-= Movement section =- - For movement, switch the first slot to the Mountaintop grenade launcher for rocket jumps, or another micro-missile frame grenade launcher. Switch Tractor Cannon exotic heavy shotgun for any Eager Edge sword for sword swinging. - Good movement combos include rocket jumps, Icarus dash, sword swing, AND your super, which will give you super jumps AND super Icarus dashes.

This section is NOTES - This build is the boss damage load out but for the normal loadout you switch to the Mountaintop grenade launcher for rocket jumps and any Eager edge sword for sword swinging - THIS NOTE IS VERY IMPORTANT Yeartide apex CAN role with both incandescent AND heal clip, which is the god roll for this build, I recommend that gun if you have it. - I mentioned that Phoenix dive is your health source, getting an orb of power will start health regen. - Notice that if you get too close to your grenade you can actually almost kill yourself and that can make you easy to be killed if you are in a boss fight, you have been warned, don't get to close to your grenade!
