Destiny 2 Hunter BuildMandalorian (Lucky Pants)

• Super is really preference.

• Gambler’s Dodge is needed to get our melee back for both weaken and radiant.

• Snare Bomb is useful because it inherently has weaken, disrupt, and can also give radiant from a fragment.

• Arcbolt allows us to get Amplified for damage reduction and a StormTrooper-itis debuff on enemies.

A stealth field generator and Thermal Detonators as advertised.

• Awakening lets us recoup a lot of ability energy.

• Paired with Honor we can get transcendence fast. However, Honor could be swapped for Ruin if you want more neutral game offense or Mending for more defense.

• Purpose either gives healing or shields, depending on your super.

• Dawn for a double burst damage ploy with Smoke Bomb…weaken and radiant in one shot.

I want to emphasize here why this is important. We are dramatically multiplying damage. When you see huge damage numbers on your Illegally Modified Holster shots, this is why: Full Lucky Pants = 450% x Vorpal = 540% x radiant's 20% = 648% x weaken's 15% = 745%

• Outbreak Perfected is nice but any kinetic exotic primary works.

• Uncivil Discourse with precision instrument is key, the other perks are more preference.

• Refurbished A499 with box breathing or in teams as you're going to almost always have debuffs on key targets, aggregate charge.

This build works well with primary heavy burst hand cannons like Agape, Warden's Law, and Yesterday's Question.

Armor Sets Damage reduction and heals are useful. Bushido may not be the top META in general any more, but Lucky Pants 'alternate weapons' mode makes it effortless.

Stats As much weapons as you can get.

Melee to 100 and class at at least 70 for the loop even far from enemies.

The rest is glorrum gravy.

Mods

• Arms - We are just aiming for extra orbs from grenades here because our melee is really mainly used as a buff/debuff. And our ‘grenade’ uptime is more about Gunpowder Gamble.

Most of the rest is standard fare.

• Barrier - take anti-barrier hand cannon.

• Overload - jolting grenades when regular, slowing when in transcendence. And/or take a pulse rifle for your primary.

• Unstoppable - ignitions from Gunpowder Gamble.

To connect the dots, we have potentially:

• Damage reduction from amplified and Smoke Jumper

• Invisibility which can be proc’d from our melee, thermal detonator, and our transcendent grenades.

• heals on orbs

• heals on kills when alternating weapons, which is the Lucky Pants loop anyway

This was the biggest challenge with build crafting because Lucky Pants just looks too out of place with some nice Beskar Mando armor. I must have tried half the shaders and a few dozen ornaments but the best I found was strategic use of the Minimalism shader which gives an almost futuristic chain mail look to it.

The secondary concern was making it look like we had enough pockets and stuff for all our gadgets. I didn't go full Fett gear accordingly.

Fett ornaments on cape and helmet with Minimalism unless otherwise noted.

• Arms - Covert Ranger Grips

• Chest - Veteran Legend Vest

• Legs - Lucky Pants with no ornament

• Cape Covert Ranger Cloak with Erebos Glance or anything really, this one is supposed to look like cloth still.

• Outbreak Perfected looks good with the Archon Prime ornament.
