While using a Void Super, casting an Empowering Rift will grant you Devour. Damage dealt by you and your allies from within your Empowering Rift will [Disruption] disrupt combatants. Defeating a target while Devour is active grants you class ability energy.
Build Details
Purpose is for constant empowering rift uptime for devour while benefiting from some of the seasonal mods.
Weapons selected are for champion coverage. Exotic can be replaced with any void weapon that can perform precision damage, and The Call can be replaced with any weapon applying sever or chill.
Another combination that would work well is Adamantite (S26 Auto) with sever/tear perks + Wavesplitter exotic
Mods: 1- Piercing Sidearms/Unstoppable Fusion 2- Volatile Marksman (boost is a plus)/Unraveling Orbs 3- King’s Vestige/Disruptor Spike 4- Maligned Harvest/Horde Shuttle 5-Elemental Supercharger & Void Flux(mobs) or Particle Reconstruction (Boss dmg)
Cast Empowering Rift to grant Devour & Hellion
Landing precision hits with Void weapon should proc volatile rounds to upkeep additional elemental buffs. It should also proc FofSolitude keeping Empowering Rift always available.
Using sever or arcane needle on targets FofCourage gives bonus damage. Upkeep by kills with light energy.
With FofBalance/ElementalCharge weapons should maintain surge bonus
