Destiny 2 Warlock BuildSanguine DPS
PvEPrecision hits and final blows build Guidance Ring energy. Opposing Guardians grant additional energy. At full charge, hip firing creates a Guidance Ring.
While standing in any rift, damaging a target will mark it. You deal extra damage to marked targets, and gain additional bonus damage with weapons that have a damage type matching your equipped Super. Weapon final blows while standing in any rift pause the rift's countdown, extending its duration.
Build Details
Most bosses you’ll want to have a Well for both extra damage and survivability. This is huge for supporting you and your team. But the even greater thing is that because we are getting back our Well of radiance every 16 seconds, we always have that healing and damage, but we also will keep creating 3 orbs for our team, that way everyone can keep popping their supers for more damage.
The main fuel for our super comes from our exotic of choice, Hierarchy of needs. Now I know some of you will say, Outbreak is better, However, in my testing, I was getting my super back about twice as fast with Hierarchy. Now this does come with a pretty big caveat. You do need the Catalyst for Hierarchy. That’s because, with the Catalyst, you gain 100 reload speed, but more importantly you get 2 times the Draw speed. So you with the catalyst you fire at literally twice the speed.
This bow gives back so much super energy because of it’s guidance rings. With these rings, any arrow that passes through it will create another 3 projectiles that deal decent damage, but all of them will help really fuel your super. The even better part is that like with Outbreak, the more people you have using hierarchy, the better. That’s because your arrow will create more projectiles for each ring that it passes through. meaning that if you have just 2 other people with heirarchy, your 1 arrow becomes 10 total projectiles, massively increasing your super gains.
But of course, we don’t want to just fuel our team, no no no, we want to be high up on that leaderboard too. That’s why we are taking the exotic chest piece, Sanguine Alchemy. This is going to make it so that standing in a Well or Rift, you gain x4 super matching weapon surge, so in our case, solar weapon surge. Which is more than mods can provide. But even better, when we damage an enemy, they become marked, these marked enemies will then take another 10% stacking damage. This is huge because if you have a boss that has a really short damage window, you can easily swap to Lord of Wolves and still absolutely fry.
So what does this look like in action? Well we have 2 cycles to talk about. The DPS phases and the Ad clearing phases.
First up the main component, the DPS phases. Now for the most part it’s pretty simple. I like to start by popping a rift right before DPS starts to proc my solar buddy, then immediately pop your well, If you have a solar heavy that can deal burst damage, I like to start by using that. The new GL Outrageous Fortune with Temporal blast deals a ton of burst damage. Then you can swap to hierarchy and keep spamming those hip fire shots. This will keep your rings active and massively increase your super gains. Every time you get your well back, pop it again to create more orbs for your team.
Now when it comes to the ad clearing portion, you absolutely can keep running this same set up. However I love to hotswap to a Speakers Sight build to help with my teams overall survivability. You can also opt to have a different primary weapon like the new Yeartide Apex that can roll with heal clip and help you spam those healing turrets. Otherwise, you want to throw your grenades to proc restoration x2 and then pop your rift to create a solar buddy. Keep killing with your solar weapons and solar buddy to extend that restoration, keeping you nice and healthy.
