Destiny 2 Titan BuildNBPs Void Titan
PvEDealing final blows to targets grants Nightsworn Sight.
During that time, final blows grant Truesight, reload speed and precision damage is increased, and submunitions weaken targets.
While you have a Void Super equipped, rapid Shotgun final blows or defeating a powerful combatant with a Shotgun will grant a Void overshield and start health regeneration. While you have a Void overshield, Shotguns deal additional damage, and Shotgun final blows refresh the overshield. Provides a moderate benefit to Shotgun airborne effectiveness and reload speed.
Build Details
First things first, we need to talk about the new shotgun. Slayers Fang is a void exotic shotgun that uses special ammo. Each bullet is a crystal that works like a slug dealing one powerful hit. But on impact the crystal shatters into 7 smaller crystals that will still damage the initial target and bounces to any nearby targets behind the initial enemy. This weapon becomes even stronger with it’s intrinsic trait, Nightsworn Sight. When getting a kill or picking up a void breach, you’re granted Truesight to see enemies through walls, but more importantly, you gain increased reload speed, 15% more Precision Damage, and the small crystals will also weaken enemies.
The biggest decision you have is with the Catalyst. If you want this weapon as a DPS weapon, then You can go for Cascade Point to really quickly dump your ammo. But if you want it for subclass synergies, then Repulsor Brace is the better option, offering you a Void Overshield when scoring a kill on a Void Debuffed Target. Remember, that once Nightsworn Sight is activated, every bullet will weaken enemies, making this incredibly easy to proc.
Since we can easily proc that void overshield, it’s a no brainer to bring No Backup Plans as the exotic of choice for the build. Now while you have a void overshield, shotguns deal 35% more damage and shotgun kills refresh the overshield. If you also have a void super equipped, every few kills or kills on tougher targets will grant a void overshield.
With just these 2 alone you have a very strong build. Get a kill to proc nightsworn for extra precision damage and weaken. Then your next kill will proc Repulsor Brace and give a void overshield for 35% more damage. Keep killing to keep you shield and damage buff active. With later mods we amp up our total precision damage by 109%.
Now I do have 2 Different builds I like. I think in most other seasons, this Prismatic (Show Prismatic Graphic) Build is the better option. However, this season has a ton of benefits once devour is active. While it’s possible to activate devour on Prismatic, it’s not easy. That’s why for this season, I’m recommending a Void Build.
Since your grenades offer you volatile rounds, I like to start by scoring a grenade kill. You can then throw your shield to proc a void overshield. Now that your shotgun has that 35% damage boost and volatile rounds active, score a kill to reproc your overshield and proc nightsworn sight for even more precision damage.
In the mean time, your initial grenade kill will have created an orb for you to pick up to proc devour. Though you can also just kill 2 enemies with your shotgun to create another orb instead. When you get in a stick situation or have a miniboss that you want to melt, slam down that rally barricade which will give you full overshield and a bit more range to melt.
If you do choose to rock sentinel shield, then feel free to use it at will since you’ll be gaining back super energy at a rapid rate.
