Destiny 2 Titan BuildStronghold Ergo Go Brrrrrrr
PvEFinal blows with this weapon grant stacks of Gathering Light, improving guard stats and lunge range. Stowing this weapon consumes all stacks, granting melee, grenade, and class ability energy.
Maximizes guard stats on equipped Swords. You take reduced damage while blocking with a Sword. Rapidly damaging targets after blocking shots with a Sword grants restoration for a duration determined by the number of shots blocked.
Build Details
This build aims to turn Ergo Sum into an ad-clear beast while also providing ample survivability for more high-risk scenarios. For this build, we run it with Arc Conductor on a Wave Frame, as that gives the best ad clear potential and builds up Transcendence the fastest for that crispy damage buff (and ammo regen provided by the catalyst).
Now, that's great and all, but there's a problem. Ergo mostly builds up Light Transcendence, but what about Dark? Well, we have four solutions. The first is Bold Endings with Headstone, to do damage directly as well as with the shatter damage.
This feeds into the second source, Diamond Lance, which spawns on ability kill or Stasis weapon damage. It has a solid AoE with its slam, and finishing the frozen targets with Sum fills both Light and Dark pretty well, and most likely makes another Lance.
The third and fourth sources are Drengr's Lash and the Shackle Grenade, but their main effect is more of an immediate "get off me" effect. The Shackle Grenade DOES work well with the melee - Shield Throw - as it helps the shield bounce, which gives you Overshield and Radiant for more survivability.
It utilizes the Stronghold Exotic Arms to provide an infinite guard on top of restoration on sword hit. These arms are great with three subclasses - Solar to extend that restoration indefinitely, Strand due to Banner of War and Woven Mail stacked on top of it, and the topic of this build, Prismatic.
For boss damage, we actually use a Wendigo GL, since A) it's arc and benefits from the same surges that the Sum uses, and B) it's a longer range alternative for maximum damage. If you are in a place that CAN take advantage of sword range, then use Bequest or another baller arc sword.
The Super does a lot of damage.
Approach fodder enemies guarding with Ergo Sum, build up some Perfect Guard
Heavy attack to release a wave that damages or defeats combatants and generates Arc Conductor.
Depending on risk, either follow up with more sword swings or continue guarding and let the lightning strikes do the work.
Your Thruster and your Shackle Grenade can help with not dying, so use them as much as possible.
If there's a lot going on but you get Transcendence, pop it. This build thrives off of keeping it up as much as possible.
Repeat as much as you can so long as there are ads. If you're faced with a Barrier champ, use your melee to get Radiant and use your heavy weapon to break shield (or just don't use Overload HC and use your primary instead)
Bosses are straightforward, slam em with the super, then Wendigo, then if it's possible and the window has gone for that long, use Ergo with Transcendence for max damage
