Build Details
Taking advantage of Agers Scepter this build provides constant freezes, powerful shatters, huge melee regeneration in the form of stasis shards or ionic traces, and is able to deal with every champion. Pair this with a stong exotic in Second Chance to provide you mid-range healing, damage resist, and high damage and you have a build that can blast away hordes while simultainously be able to keep up with your fireteams boss damage.
- Use Agers Secpter and or diamond lances on combatants to cause large scale freezes
- When enemies are frozen you have 3 options that can depend upon enemy type and available opportunities Option 1 - Continue to use Agers to cause a large scale shatter damage as well as take advantage of creeping chill Option 2 - Use a shield throw for on demand weaken, higher shatter damage, chunk of void over-shield, as well as generate light transcendence energy Option - 3 Swap to an arc weapon to cause a shatter, gain light transcendence energy and activate volt-shot for the next group of enemies.
- The amount of freezing and suppressing with this build takes heavy advantage of facet of command to keep Agers magazine full, as well as generate a massive amount of stasis shards and ionic traces to refuel second chances weakening shield throws. Ensure you target red-bars first in large crowds as the shatter damage can take big chunks out of higher health targets.
- Ensure you are playing at a medium range this build while strong loses capabilities at long and short range.
- If your super and transcendence are charged for a damage phase or otherwise , use transcendence and activate Agers special reload to consume your super. The overwhelming damage bonus, freezes, slow-stacks, and facet of ruin and command will provide you with both powerful damage output on bosses, champs and keep ads off your allies easily. P.S.A Section -
- Shield throws can and will bounce off your towering barricades like they would a wall.
- Facet of Ruin is not necessary for the build but i have found on higher end content enemies can sometimes survive an initial shatter
- Fire and Forget, and Indebted Kindness are also not necessary to the build and arc weapon with volt-shot will do fine, and Fire and Forget is just a personal favorite stasis damage weapon.
- Don't be impatient on Agers freeze it will take a second before it applies and the shatter damage will be worth it.
