Build Details
Stronghold for Warlocks
Stronghold allows titans to aggro lock bosses and champions, forcing them to mostly stomp and ignore the rest of your party.
Well, so does this Warlock sword build!
But instead of using the shield (which you should use for reviving allies), we are going to use heavy attacks with two Wave Frame Swords, effectively keeping our warlock in the air 80% of the time, making it much easier to dodge stomps, and achieving a similar result, but with much higher damage output.
This builds has 3 different modes (easy to learn, hard to master)
Mode #1: Regular sword mode, allowing us to move fast, hit hard, and fill up our transcendent bars. Heavy attack followed by a light attack propels us forward. Mode #2: Transcendent sword mode, where we become extremely hard to kill. Dont forget the pets, grenade, unraveling rounds and ergo sum are constantly passively killing enemies, triggering and keeping Devour up. Mode #3: Sidearm mode, where we play mid range, in situations where melee wont work (against certain bosses, or waives of exploding enemies).
Gameplay Loop: #1: Consume grenade to activate Getaway Artist, giving us an Arc Buddy. #2: Phoenix Dive will heal us, activating Solar Buddy. #3: Get kills with Abyssal Edge, to get Redirection stacks pretty much effortlessly, while moving forward super fast. It will also spread Unraveling Rounds to enemies. #4: Switch to ergo sum when desired. Between the Arc Conductor perk, the two pets spamming enemies, our transcendence bar will fill up crazy fast. #5: Use the super to fill out the darkness bar almost immediately, when leaving Transcendence. The damage output of this builds so so high, the super is really just used to get transcendence back. #6: Spam the transcendent grenade as much as possible. Its amazing for damage and also survivability, and it grants Ergo Sum limitless ammo, due to the Catalyst. #7: This build stuns all champions almost automatically (while transcendent). The sidearm can deal with Barrier Champions, and also Unstoppables since it can freeze. Our transcendent grenade also freezes. Abyssal Edge kills Overcharged champions fast. #8: Use the two swords to stay airbourne as long as possible with heavy attacks. Devour will keep us constantly healed, since this build has so much passive damage. Phoenix Dive if it gets really crazy. Everything but bosses and champions instantly melt, even on master level difficulty. Bosses can't stomp you if you are in the air, so you can stomp lock a boss, kinda of similar to Stronghold.
Bolt Charge seems to go off pretty often as well :D
There are quite a few mods/artifact perks/gun perks that let us swap between swords faster, which is critical for this build. So dont ignore the smaller details!
I also have the mods set up so I can switch to any super without having to change anything else.
Artifact Mods: Focus on Strand and Arc stuff.
Ergo Sum: Arc Conductor/Wave Frame Sword is my fav!
Please let me know your feedback! Thanks!
Keep both pets up as much as possible. Use both wave frame sword to slay and move fast. go Transcendent ASAP. Use Strand Super to get dark energy instantly, pets will fill in the light.
