Precision final blows reduce the cooldown of your Super. Modifies Golden Gun to fire a single, high-damage shot. Targets defeated by that shot give you Super energy and explode.
Build Details
This build is all about good boss damage and good neutral gameplay.
For neutral gameplay, it works by simply keeping your Restoration up from Healing Grenade and killing everything that moves with Knife Trick or your primary slot weapon. An SMG or adaptive Auto Rifle like the Legendary Khvostov 7G-02 works well in that slot.
Also, Ember of Benevolence is a good alternative for Ember of Solace if you're running with friends, and Ember of Mercy is good either solo or with friends.
Make sure to charge your Still Hunt before the damage phase by any means necessary. If you die before DPS, it does not wipe your progress bar for Cayde's Retribution .
For boss damage, it works by primarily using Still Hunt, getting precision hits with it, and swapping to a rocket of your choosing (A rocket with Reconstruction and Bait and Switch is optimal) for the entirety of the damage phase.
If you are a experienced player, you can use Mactics damage rotation found in his video for maximum damage. I will list it here for your convenience.
In-Depth Explanation
For neutral gameplay: 1. Throw down Healing Grenade to Cure yourself and proc Restoration. 2. Kill something with Knife Trick or Still Hunt (leaving enough ammo for the boss of course). 3. If you don't kill whatever you threw your knives at, use Gambler's Dodge and throw some more knives at them. 4. Use Healing Grenade when you're in trouble or need to restart Restoration. 5. Repeat until DPS!
For regular DPS rotations: 1. Throw Knife Trick at the boss (or nearby adds if possible) to proc Radiant for increased Super and weapon damage. 2. Use the charged up Still Hunt on the boss. 3. Fire some rockets at them. 4. Get some more precisions with Still Hunt and charge it up again. 5. Repeat and profit!
