Destiny 2 Titan BuildDR Stacker Behemoth: "Refrigerator Perry"
PvEFinal blows with this weapon generate a slowing burst around the defeated target.
While you have a Stasis Super equipped, rapid Stasis final blows grant Frost Armor. You heal a small amount whenever you gain Frost Armor. Replaces your class ability with a burst of Stasis energy that freezes nearby combatants, slows nearby opponents, and grants you increased Frost Armor.

THE SKINNY
This build takes advantage of multiple damage resistance buffs, stacking them on top of one another to achieve a theoretical DR of over 70%. This is possible with
- max Frost Armor stacks using Icefall Mantle + Whisper of Rime,
- the Aurora Dawn Stasis sword with the Vanguard Determination origin trait,
- the Bushido 4-piece armor set bonus.
This allows us to survive essentially everything... Yes, everything.
ITEMIZATION AND GAMEPLAY
Icefall Mantle is the heart of this build. This exotic needs no introduction: slap it on and enjoy your stacks of Frost Armor. ALWAYS USE WHISPER OF RIME!!!
It's important to try to pop your Icefall class ability around enemies. Shatter damage is a big part of Behemoth, and this build allows us to chain shatter after shatter using the class ability > shatter > diamond lance slam > shatter > glacial grenade > shatter loop. Often, your diamond lance cooldown will be up before you're done with your shatter rotation. Note that it's important to shatter a frozen enemy before trying to freeze again - this debuff does NOT stack! Be mindful of your rotation to maximize your damage: this build needs it.
The newly added Bushido armor set has an interesting 4-piece set bonus that fits perfectly with our Stasis build: Unfaltering Focus. It plays perfectly into Icefalls and gives us extra DR without having to think about a specific activation requirement, since we're already popping our class ability before we run into battle with our sword.
Aim to prioritize as much of the Class stat as you can, preferably 150 or above. We're always popping our class ability for frost armor: an overshield is the proverbial icing on the cake.
The Weapon stat is a great secondary stat to target, as it seems most players are favoring the additional damage and the bump to heavy ammo economy: both are things we definitely need here.
WEAPONS
Aurora Dawn is a stasis sword that comes with some interesting rolls. I prefer Rimestealer and Cold Steel, since this allows us to lean fully into Stasis. However, Tireless Blade, One for All, Vorpal, or even Unrelenting are viable options here. What's important here is its Stasis affinity and the origin trait: Vanguard Determination. It states that after using our class ability, we get bonus damage resistance. I really don't need to explain how this origin trait fits into our Icefall build. If the overshield from the Class stat is the icing on the cake, then Vanguard Determination is the cherry.
Ager's Scepter is an extremely fun trace to use. Apart from being super satisfying, it can generate us Stasis shards, help us with shatters, and it allows us to do some decent damage from far away. If you encounter flying enemies, your sword and super will be useless. However, Ager's allows us to consume our super and overcharge the beam - this fills a VERY major gap in this build. While not necessary, I highly recommend putting this trace rifle on, especially for situations where you have no heavy ammo for your sword.
ASPECTS AND FRAGMENTS
The aspects listed are non-negotiable. As for fragments, there are three that are mandatory:
Whisper of Rime: You should always slot this if you are rocking Frost Armor. Whisper of Refraction: More class ability energy means more Frost Armor uptime and more AoE freezes and shatters. Whisper of Fissures: Shatters are underwhelming without this. Take this, as sustained Cold Steel attacks will proc freezes and shatters. (Fun fact: since Aurora Dawn is a Wave frame, the heavy uppercut and light follow-up attack is the exact damage needed to freeze and shatter!)
DID I MISS ANYTHING?
I probably didn't. This build is super simple. You don't need to overthink armor mods or stat distribution too much, apart from the Class stat. Use whatever mods feel good to you, and whatever rounds out your build to fit your personal playstyle. Remember that the point of this build is to survive 100% of the time with the use of stacking DR buffs - there's a decent amount of room for variation. You can even lean into shotguns with Vanguard Determination. Enjoy!
TL;DR + GAMEPLAY LOOP
Pop class ability next to enemies and start slashing. Slam the diamond lances and shatter enemies with the sword. Enjoy infinite survivability.
See below for more info on how everything synergizes.
The expansion is new, and this build is a work in progress. However, this guide is a good starting point if you're a fan of tanky, in-your-face melee gameplay. Enjoy!
