Build Details

How It Works

So first off, you're going to need an ergo sum with arc conductor. I've got one that's got an aggressive frame, I love that version because the heavy slams are incredibly ammo efficient for activating arc conductor.

Arc Conductor's a ridiculously ammo efficient way to use your sword, you're mostly going to be running around, keeping that buff up, and letting the arc lightning get kills.

Testing damage numbers on a red bar taken thrall in the shuro chi checkpoint and at base, a lightning bolt from ergo sum hits for 13,636,

Then with the surge's ~22% bonus, that gets buffed to 16635,

The transcendence damage buff to the heavy attack, however, is where things get interesting. It's MULTIPLICATIVE with surges, that's 20960, which is around 26% more than 16635.

Or somewhere around a 52 to 53% damage increase.

Basically, big zaps go brr.

Everything in the build is based around using your ergo sum zaps as like, your primary method of dealing with everything that isn't a boss in whatever you're doing.

Protection keeps you safe in crowds, same with melee/concussive dampener

Dominance and Courage buff the heck out of your transcendence grenade's damage output

Purpose gives you access to void overshield, and you'll naturally have access to amplified because it gets triggered by rapid arc multikills, which is going to be great in heresy because amplified is getting buffed to give you damage resist and an evasion rate.

And Ruin makes your shatters bigger and more damaging, which is incredibly useful for a build using rime coat raiment.

For stats, I've got a bunch of artifice and high stat armor so I run 30/100/70/100/30/30

But all you really should worry about is getting that 100/70/100 for res/rec/disc.

With the 30 recovery from font of restoration you'll be at 100 recovery, and you'll have a really fast cooldown for phoenix dive, which you can use to gather up orbs for overshields in a pinch.

I like getting all my other stats to at least 30 because that's the base value, anything below 30 gives you a penalty.

Gameplay Loop

1.) Toss a bleak watcher down in a group of ads 2.) Slam with your sword to activate arc conductor, shattering the crystals in the process and triggering devour, arc multikills will activate amplified because you have an arc grenade equipped 3.) Get orbs for arc surges, and for void overshields 4.) Activate transcendence once it's full, and use the grenade to generate ammo for your sword. 5.) Repeat as needed, use supers and rockets for big targets
