Melee hits grant Armor Charge, and you take less melee damage while you have Armor Charge. Taking melee damage causes you to emit a burst of damaging Arc energy that Jolts targets, consuming your Armor Charge and dealing more damage based on the number of stacks consumed.
Build Details
The point of the build is to store up armor charges by picking up orbs or getting kills so when someone decides to melee you, they'll instantly regret it.
You can use whatever weapons you want to and can swap the armor mods out to better suit those weapons though I'd recommend keeping the "Charged Up" and "Stacks on Stacks" mods to help increase your armor charge storage.
The Main combo is storing armor charges and making the enemy regret punching you.
