The build is engineered for ad clear and ability spam, with super high damage output. At its core, the build revolves around pairing the Mataiodoxia exotic chest piece and Arcane Needle to suspend enemies and fill our transcendence bar quickly.

So, obviously we’re going to be going prismatic here for our subclass. For our Class Ability: I like to take Healing Rift for the survivability, but it’s not integral to the build For our melee: We’ll be using Arcane Needle here, paired up with our exotic armor piece, Mataiodoxia. And for the Grenade: It’s really up to you, and not super important for the build. I prefer vortex grenades here, but pick the one you like the best.

We’ll be picking up Song of Flame as our super – You’re getting an insane 90% damage reduction, and granting 25% DR to nearby allies as well. Our Solar and kinetic weapons are going to be applying Scorch too, which is pretty sweet. It’s just overall fantastic for survivability. Something to be said is that song of flame replaces your melee and grenade which is unfortunate, but realistically we’re pretty much just using the super to survive. If you prefer not to use it, I’d just throw on nova bomb.

Let’s move on to our Aspects and Fragments. The Aspects we’re going to be taking are Feed the Void: Everyone knew it was coming. Defeating enemies with abilities is going to proc Devour, which is going provide us with healing as long as we keep extending the timer and killing enemies. It’s super nice for survivability, and it’s an easy pick for us. Hellion: This isn’t super important here, but I like hellion here as it applies scorch and can ignite enemies. Bleak watcher could also be a nice choice for crowd control, if that’s your thing.

Let’s talk about our Fragments: Facet of Dawn: This fragment makes hits with Arcane Needle, grant Radiant to us. If we manage to kill an enemy with Arcane Needle, nearby allies are also going to get Radiant. Facet of Hope: This is going to make our class ability regenerate faster when we have an elemental buff, which in this case will be Radiant. Facet of Sacrifice: So, when we are radiant, kills with our grenade and our arcane needles are going to grant us bonus Transcendence energy. Facet of Justice: When we’re transcendent, our ability final blows are going to explode, doing a lot of AOE damage. Facet of Grace or Facet of Solitude are two other fragments that you could use here. Facet of Balance: When we defeating targets with Light damage, we get granted melee energy, Darkness damage does grant grenade energy, but we’re not too focused on that. With Aberrant Action, this is going to get us our arcane needle back a bit faster.

And, our exotic chest piece of choice, Mataiodoxia. Mataiodoxia marks targets hit with Arcane Needle, causing them to emit a suspending burst when defeated. Multiple hits immediately create a larger suspending blast. Defeating suspended targets grants melee energy, and although it’s pretty situational, it’s nice that our Arcane Needles can pierce barriers now.

Finally : Weapons. In our Kinetic Slot, We’re going to take Outbreak Perfected: Pulse rifles received a 20% buff with the release of The Final Shape, and Outbreak Perfected is in a wonderful place. It’s perfect for this build and with anti-barrier pulse being in the artifact this season, it’s a great weapon to run and well worth the exotic slot.

For our Energy Weapon, Aberrant Action. Rocket sidearms (and the special ammo economy) are in a great spot right now. This Solar rocket sidearm saw tons of hype leading up to its release, and for good reason. What can I say besides this weapon puts in work? Most people are going to go for a Heal Clip/Incandescent roll, but I have an interesting craft for this build in particular with Pugilist/ Incandescent. Since we’re going to be steamrolling ads with this thing, the enhanced Pugilist perk is going to give us our Arcane Needle back that much faster.

And in our Power Slot: Just use what you like best. An Envious Assassin/ Bait & Switch Edge Transit is always a solid choice. I’ve recently been toying around with a Rapid Hit/ Bait & Switch Scintillation to fill the dark Transcendence bar just a bit faster.
