How It Works

This crazy build allows you to infinitely spam ascension, and whip withering blades across the map!

To start off we're using the prismatic subclass because it allows us to full use the potential of the radiant dance machines to its fullest as we can have ascension and various melee abilities if we want.

For this build we will be using the Radiant Dance Machines which gives upgraded stats to primary ammo weapons and on every primary ammo weapon final blow will grant class ability energy. If your class ability energy is full, it will overload it and give extra stack (up to 3). This works very well paired with Khvostov as the shots ricochet off targets which allows you tog et serval kills very quickly. Nonetheless, you can run any primary ammo weapon you want but just make sure it's the main weapon you are going to be using for the build to fully utilize Radiant Dance Machines ability.

For your Super, it's really up to you whichever one you'd want to choose. I personally like using Silk Strike, but feel free to swap it, as it's not at the core of this build and won't affect its functionality.

Now it's essential to have gambler's dodge equipped for this build as every time we use our class ability, if we have a minimum of 70 melee stat it will fully replenish itself. And now with the new Edge of Fate update, using your class ability anywhere refunds your melee energy, you no longer needs to use it close to enemies for it to work.

Your jump of course doesn't really matter, and honestly neither does your powered melee. Withering blade is very useful for crowd control as it can freeze any enemy in the game with just 2 hits. It takes about 1 second after the 2nd hit lands for the target to freeze, but you can still swap it out for your favorite melee, but withering blade has just been performing outrageously well for me.

Then, the grenade again is up to you, but grapple is for me the best grenade in the game because it allows for great mobility and still does a decent amount of damage. Also, with the edge of Fate rework, its damage can be significantly increased because it now counts as a grenade and a melee attack. Therefore, any mods or buffs, that upgrade any of these stats will upgrade the damage of this grenade, making it most certainly the best in the game. It also has the lowest cooldown which is really nice, and I believe it can go all the way down to 19 seconds with 100 grenade stat.

For aspects, Ascension and Threaded Specter are the best choice. Ascension simply shreds through enemies (especially if they're frozen after having used withering blade) and also leaves a thread specter for enemies to shoot at instead of you. You will basically be a helicopter flying around the map using ascension 3 times in the air allowing you to throw 4-6 withering in one go!

Now for fragments, the facet of grace is the most important as getting final blows with kinetic weapons grants bonus transcendence energy which is why running Khvostov with this build is the best option. Facet of balance helps you get more ability uptime depending on what damage type you're dealing, facet of courage for extra damage since every enemy is going to be frozen, facet for radiant which you will now constantly be since you always have your melee ability thanks to gambler's dodge and ascension, and finally facet of protection for extra DR and the bonus stat.

The armor mods are built to replenish our grenade since this build doesn't really have a way to do so, but they are very flexible and can be moved around. The most essential mods are the kinetic siphon, heavy-handed, powerful attraction and all grenade mods. The rest can be swapped out for what you like.

Your 2 other weapons don't matter for this build as they won't affect. I do strongly recommend at least 1 light weapon (Arc, Void or Solar) to help you fill your transcendence bar in case it's lagging behind. You should still be fine as most of your kills come from ascension, withering blade and that kinetic weapons fill both the light and dark meter which is awesome.

If you read all of this I'm very thankful for your time, I hope it was helpful and that you appreciated it.

Gameplay Loop
  1. Get kills with Khvostov 7G-0X to fill up class ability. (Stacks up to 3 times)
  2. Use your 2 melee attacks and replenish them with Ascension thanks to gamblers dodge.
  3. Repeat this cycle to have infinite melee and class ability.
  4. Keep using Khvostov to fill transcendence bar.
