Destiny 2 Hunter BuildI Sharded and it Burns

This build is all about the blades!! With the Shards of Galanor, you will regularly use your super and end up with appx 40-50% of your super immediately recharged. The remaining percentage will charge up incredibly quickly as you spread scorch with your melee that gets fully refunded with a kill while also making you radiant even on just a hit. I like to use the Ahab Char with Heal Clip/Burning Ambition as after hitting a boss with your Knife Trick Melee and scorching them, Burning ambition on an Auto rifle will chain ignitions fairly consistently. This is further accelerated from using Dragon's Breath as your heavy for more ignitions/scorch damage. The Yeartide Apex SMG can get this roll as well, so it would be a good replacement if you were able to get this roll during the Solstice event.

Gunpowder Gamble works really well with this build for an on-demand solar AoE for ad clear, as well as giving you an additional DPS ability while still being able to run Healing Grenade for survivability.

For stats, even though your Melee gets refunded with each kill, still try to go for 200 Melee since it is a core piece of your rotation and buffing it's damage helps a ton. After that, try to get close to 200 Super for similar reasons. Depending on your Melee stats, if you don't need to use the Font's on the arms, replace those mods with additional "Heavy handed" mods as if you can use 3x of them, you will spawn an orb on EVERY melee kill.

While not required for this build to work and feel amazing, the Lustrous Armor set bonus would be the best armor set for this build due to the Solar Synergy. Make sure to prioritize stats over the armor set though with this build even if it means you won't get the 2/4 set bonus from Lustrous.
