All shoulder charge abilities (Seismic Strike, Hammer Strike, or Shield Bash) deal bonus damage when activated in the air. Damaging mini-bosses, Tormentors, or Champions with your shoulder charge refunds your melee. Provides a small benefit to the airborne effectiveness stat of all weapons.

Build Details

How It Works

This build is my take on the new Bolt Charge Titan build. I have seen a few builds using exotics like Hazardous Propulsion, Insurmountable Skullfort, and others that all seem to revolve around the same mechanic of "hunker behind shield, shoot thing with tick damage, profit" gameplay loop, and this build still retains all that functionality where you can even drop multiple barriers on top of each other. However where this build is different is how it build in the Melee Nuke which can be essential in GM's whether for the damage or the AoE blind caused by it. Then the pulse grenade generating Ionic Traces just helps the whole feedback loop flow super smoothly.

For weapons, I HIGHLY recommend the Psychopomp with Envious Assassin and Rolling Thunder if you have it. Regardless of perks, this GL will go to town with this build, but that perk combo helps to elevate it a little. If you don't have ambitious assassin, Pugilist can also be nice to further reduce your melee CD.

I have been changing up my kinetic and Heavy weapons to fit the activity I'm doing, so feel free to switch it up. The new Heavy Arc Machine Gun has been really nice to pair with this build when dropping the barricade.

Gameplay Loop

Use your abilities as often as you would like for the following purposes:

Class Ability - Hunker down behind it, shoot your arc GL which generates Bolt charge incredibly fast due to the tick damage. Lightning strikes every second clears out waves of ads with 1-2 shots

Melee Ability - Champion buster, engaging tool, or AoE Blind tool

Grenade Ability - Use for generating Ionic traces that will feeds Spark of Discharge for more Bolt Charge generation

This build generates a lot of Orbs as well so you will have Thundercrash up fairly often, and it helps to reduce your ability cooldowns very quickly.
