Build Details

How It Works

General Overview

  • This build turns you into a literal assassin, where you will be constantly jumping in and out of stealth to kill your enemies while debuffing everything you hit with weaken and exhaust. This build is great for Champion busting as well due to all of the damage buffs from surges, and seasonal artifact mods. By also using the combo of Orb generating mods along with Better Already and the Ferropotent armor set, you will always have a very his Damage Reduction buff as long as you have stuff to kill. Between the DR and constant Devour uptime, it is almost impossible to die in GM Frontiers, Vanguard Alerts, or any other add-heavy activities.

TL;DR for The "Why"

  • Constant Orb/Void Breach Generation synergizes with every aspect of this build perfectly to replicate the feeling of being a Space Wizard version of the stealthy Assassin who is hidden in the shadows, only coming out to assassinate their target... while everything you touch explodes in void-glory!

The "Why" for each part of the build

  • Super - Moebius Quiver is preferred for highest damage output. There is nothing wrong with running Deadshot though if you are fine sacrificing some damage for a better debuff Super
  • Grenade - Vortex Grenade is preferred as we will mostly be using it to spread Weaken or group up targets
  • Aspects - "On The Prowl" provides a reliable gameplay-loop for you to provide invisibility for your whole team while flowing in to the "Stylish Executioner" invisibility loop very well. Each invisibility counts as a void debuff to proc Singularity Blade, to then spread weaken on at least your next hit, which even if you 1-shot the enemy will still count as a weaken kill, restarting the loop.
  • Fragments - Harvest is for Orb/Void Breach generation. Starvation is for constant Devour buff uptime. Undermining is for an easy way to spread weaken to a group. Persistence is for Void Buff uptime. Instability is optional, but in case you are in a scenario where you can't use the melee Praxic Blade, you can at least give your Void Weapons Volatile Rounds.
  • Armor Mods - Kinetic Siphon (Helm), Firepower (Arms), Reaper (Class), and Powerful Attraction (Class) are all for increased Orb Generation/Collection. Special Ammo Finder (Helm) and Kinetic Ammo Generation (Chest) are to help make sure you never run out of Special ammo, or Heavy either if running the Refurbished-A499. Surges/Fonts (Legs/Arms) should be used to get as close to 200 of either Weapon/Grenade as possible before buffing damage. Do not sacrifice the Firepower (Arms) mod for another Font mod though as the Orb Generation is more valuable to the build than 20 extra grenade stat.
  • Seasonal Artifact Mods - The mod choices are all for making the build work more synergistically. Spreading more debuffs, dealing more damage, generating more Orbs/Void Breaches, and gaining more DR all makes this build feel unstoppable.
  • Armor Sets - SwordMaster allows you to exhaust enemies hit with your sword, which should be all of them increasing survivability. Ferropotent synergizes perfectly with the Better Already (Legs) mod to provide near constant uptime of the high Damage Resist buff from the armor set with all of the Orbs being generated.

"Isn't this an old build?"

  • While this is a modern interpretation of a very old build, the one thing that has always held it back was the Super Damage/Single Target damage. With the buffs to Moebius Quiver, along with Orpheus Rigs, Moebius Quiver now does respectable damage in Single Target, allowing you to then tailor a boss DPS weapon rotation to suit the scenario while getting 3x heavy hitting super shots off per super charge. Along with all of the seasonal artifact synergy around kinetic, void, and weaken specifically, this build proves to be a juggernaut that is nigh unstoppable in activities!

Normal Gameplay Loop 1. Dodge to proc Reaper 2. Throw Grenade at Enemy to weaken the target 3. Kill targets with Praxic Blade

Boss DPS Loop 1. Throw Grenade 2. Super Shot (First) 3. Preferred Weapon Rotation till Moebius meter is full 4. Super Shot (Second) 5. 1x Rotation/Clip of Preferred Weapon Rotation 6. Super Shot (Third) 7. Preferred Weapon Rotation 8. Throw Grenade on CD.
