Destiny 2 Hunter BuildGyrfalcon's Fang
PvEDealing final blows to targets grants Nightsworn Sight.
During that time, final blows grant Truesight, reload speed and precision damage is increased, and submunitions weaken targets.
Your Void weapons gain Volatile Rounds after you emerge from being invisible. When you are invisible and defeat a combatant while using a finisher, all of your weapons gain bonus damage; you and your nearby allies gain a reserve overshield and improved class ability regeneration. These reserve overshields can be deployed by using a class ability.

Build Details
Gyrfalcon's Fang:
Weaken: Obtained through "Echo of Undermining" (Void Fragment- grenades weaken targets), "Supernova" (Artifact Perk- void breaches causes next source of void damage to weaken targets), "Shadowshot Deadfall" (Void Super- enemies tethered to void anchor are weakened), "Snare Bomb" (Void Melee- weakens targets), "Slayer's Fang" (Exotic Shotgun- sub munitions weaken targets).
Devour: Obtained through "Power From Pain" ( Artifact Perk- rapid final blows against weakened targets grant devour), "Echo of Starvation" (Void Fragment- picking up an orb of power or void breach grants devour). Also benefited by "Frenzied Hunter" (Artifact Perk- bonus to handling and reload speed when devour is active).
Volatile Rounds: Obtained intrinsically by emerging from invisibility while wearing "Gyrfalcon's Hauberk", "Echo of Cessation" (Void Fragment- finisher cause a burst of void damage that causes nearby enemies to become volatile).
Void Breaches: Obtained through "Void Renewal" (Artifact Perk- while devour is active void weapon final blows have a chance to create a void breach), "Echo of Harvest" (Void Fragment- defeating weakened targets create an orb of power and void breach), "Echo of Cessation" (Void Fragment- defeating volatile targets creates a void breach).
Overshield: Obtained intrinsically by finishing an enemy while invisible using "Gyrfalcon's Hauberk", "Repulsor Brace" (Slayer's Fang Trait- defeating a void-debuffed target grants an overshield).
Finishers: While invisible grants an overshield (allies included), bonus weapon damage (35%), improved class ability regen (500%), causes a "Debilitating Wave" (Artifact Perk- finishers emit a damaging wave) & a volatile wave through the use of "Echo of Cessation" (Void Fragment- finisher cause a volatile burst of damage), Special Finisher (Class Item Armor Mod- finishers generate special ammo for whole fireteam).
Make it Rain: "Old God's Rite" (Artifact Perk- after picking up a void breach causing damage with a void weapon creates a rain of seeking projectiles
Suppression: Obtained through the use of "Shadowshot Deadfall" (Void Super- enemies tethered to void anchor are suppressed).
Nightsworn Sight: Grants "Truesight" (enemies are highlighted even through walls), increased reload speed, 15% increased precision damage, and submunitions inflict weaken.
Invisibility: Obtained through "Vanishing Step" (Void Aspect- dodging makes you invisible), and "Stylish Executioner" (Void Aspect- Defeating weakened, suppressed, or volatile enemies grants invisibility and truesight).
Where this build shines is having near 100% uptime of weaken, volatility, void breaches, invisibility, and void overshields. The play-style has an adjustment period with having to utilize finishers for special ammo, but Gyrfalcon's Hauberk is the best exotic in the game to utilize and incentivize finishers, so it's not really a problem. To further your production of special ammo make sure to put a special ammo finder enhancement mod on your pulse rifle (since Slayer's Fang can stun both Overload and Barrier a pulse rifle is the natural choice).
- Use class ability to go invisible and cause Slayer's Fang to gain volatile rounds once emerging from invisibility
- Use grenade or melee to weaken targets
- Pick up any and all void breaches and orbs of power
- Use finishers to gain bonus weapon damage, get increased class regen, cause you and allies to gain overshield, and produce special ammo.
