Build Details
Most of how the build works I explained in the gameplay loop section, but I'll add a bit more here:
For a while I would always run Spirit of Inmost + Synthoceps. However, Spirit of Contact (whilst not technically being as strong) gives such a satisfying gameplay loop with the Jolting + Ignitions from Consecration. Being able to stun both Unstop and Overload with one slam just feels amazing, let alone really honing in on the monster-Titan gameplay fantasy.
In addition to the gameplay loop, the most important parts of the build are as follows:
- New Malpais + Shackle Grenade suspend.
- MIDA Mini-Tool heals and ignites.
- Submersion slows + freezes.
- Consecration ignites and jolts.
- Using Pulse + Bow allow for Consecration to do extra damage via Facet of Courage.
- Thruster to get out of tight situations (but mostly used to engage fights and proc Inmost regen).
- You will have prismatic very consistently (if you don't forget to use your weapons in succession to Consecration).
- Glacial Quake used as Boss DPS or in emergency situations when your abilities are out.
- Collect Orbs whenever you can, helps with damage reduction for Frost Armor and Smoke Jumper.
Exotic Armor:
- Stoicism:
- Spirit of Inmost: Gain improved ability regen when using other abilities.
- Spirit of Contact: Melee damage Jolts nearby targets.
Aspects:
- Knockout: Heal every time you get a kill with Melee (Consecration).
- Consecration: Flaming hammer goes BAM BOOM POW, everything dead.
Fragments:
- Facet of Ruin: increases the size of ignitions from both Consecration and MIDA Incandescent.
- Facet of Purpose: Orb pickup gives Frost Armor.
- Facet of Protection: Gives damage reduction being surrounded.
- Facet of Courage: abilities do more damage to targets affected by buffs of the opposite type (Consecration and Jolt do more damage to suspended or slowed targets.)
Don't forget: this build is probably the most consistently strongest in the game, however, like all other builds: you can still die. So don't think like a monkey, play hard, but smart. You WILL dominate with this build and have an insane amount of fun with it.
p.s. enjoy those jolting sound fx ;)
Prismatic Titan has been absolutely busted for a while now, and whilst Knockout + Consecration isn't new by any means, the new guns and armour this season, plus Spirit of Inmost + Contact, make it probably the most destructive and fun build in the entire game. Here's how it works:
- Use Thruster to get into fight to proc Inmost (think of BOOSTING into the fight).
- Consecration to kill literally anything infront of you - Spirit of Contact makes this overkill (the jolting sound fx are extremely satisfying).
- Overload champs get stunned via jolt, Unstop by ignition/shackle grenade, Barrier by New Malpais.
- Make sure to stagger abilities to have at least 1 ability up at all times (helps with inmost regen).
- Repeat and go crazy.
Side note: For boss dps (especially in the final section of activities like The Salt Mines in Call to Arms) use this rotation for damage:
- Submersion shot for chill clip proc.
- New Malpais shots.
- Consecration (steps 1 & 2 boost damage through Facet of Courage).
- Special reload of New Malpais.
- Repeat Steps 1 - 3 until out of melee charges.
- Thruster to proc Inmost.
- Repeat.
If you get the rhythm down with the abilities and weapons, you should have infinite up-time on abilities and basically be un-killable with Frost Armor + Smoke Jumper damage reduction. Oh and also don't forget you have Glacial Quake if you want to melt anything else and are out of abilities.
Please like and follow if you enjoy these kinds of builds :)
