Your Void weapons gain Volatile Rounds after you emerge from being invisible. When you are invisible and defeat a combatant while using a finisher, all of your weapons gain bonus damage; you and your nearby allies gain a reserve overshield and improved class ability regeneration. These reserve overshields can be deployed by using a class ability.

How It Works

This is a modified version of the age old Gyrfalcon's volatile rounds build. I find this version with Prismatic to be even easier to use and maintain than on a straight void build. The gameplay loop is pretty straight forward and once you get a feel for the synergy of several items it will flow like water. Use either a melee or grenade to apply some debuffs and then simply secure a kill to proc Stylish and by extension, Gyrfalcon's. Now it's off to the races with Choir and Hammerhead to maintain constant procs of stylish and Gyr for endless volatile. Don't get tunnel vision though and burn through all of your ammo with your big guns on the small fry. Try and cycle in Breachlight to quickly kill things like Thrall and Dregs to convert them into melee energy for more Threaded Spike throws. Make sure to shoot Tangles with Breachlight too so you get the Threaded Blast damage. Make sure to utilize your dodge periodically to pull in orbs for health, ability energy and super energy, and for quick reloads on Choir or Hammerhead.

I can't fit it in the build area but DON'T FORGET EXPANDING ABYSS!

On a side note, I use grapple for mobility and because I like the grapple melee, for GM level content I would recommend swapping it out for Duskfield grenade, slow counts for procing Stylish and therefore Gyr. You could also swap out Awakening for Protection if you don't really need the bump to resilience like I do.

Enjoy!

Gameplay Loop
  1. Begin by using either a grenade or melee to apply some debuffs, secure a kill to proc Gyrfalcon's.
  2. Use Choir Of One with volatile rounds and decimate everything.
  3. If volatile falls off you can use the Hammerhead with destabilizing rounds to force a proc of Gyrfalcon's on red bars or groups of enemies. Hammerhead is, of course, excellent for general use when volatile is up.
  4. Utilize Breachlight to refresh melee energy and deal with things like red bar Thrall and other adds that can be swept up quickly and converted into melee energy for more Threaded Spike throws and therefore more Gyrfalcon's procs. Also, make sure to shoot Tangles with Breachlight for Threaded Blast damage.
  5. Use Marksman's Dodge to pull in orbs and quickly refresh ability energy, heal, and top up super energy.
