How It Works

Swap resist mods as required.

Weapon Rolls The Call: Lead from Gold / Hatchling Pro Memoria: Reconstruction / Frenzy Both are crafted and fully enhanced

This is a very aggressive and ability focused Solar/Strand Warlock build that is capable of maintaining 100% up time on Devour. As Threadlings count as ability damage, it is possible to proc devour with The Call from the hatchling perk.

DON'T FORGET SOLAR FULMINATION IN THE ARTIFACT!

Once the loop is engaged, and orbs are being generated, it is very hard to die in any content under GM difficulty as long as you are playing forward and securing kills, a slightly more cautious approach is required in GM but stay aggressive! I have used this build in both Salvations Edge and several GM's to great effect. (This build is extremely kill hungry and greedy.)

I do not believe that any of these weapons should be subbed out as all of them are contributing to the build in one way or another. A couple of options I would say are acceptable, is possibly a different damage perk on Pro Memoria, or the use of Sunshot for overload champs. Keep in mind that I built this with Red Death in mind and it has a place in the build, you will loose some survivability if you swap it out.

The high amount of passive and aoe damage from unraveling Threadlings, ignitions, and tangles/threaded blast will have you killing enemies that aren't even on screen and getting refreshes on Devour nonstop.

Red Death is primarily in this build as a healing tool and champ weapon although with the extremely high uptime on Devour, Restoration, and Radiant, the only time you will likely need it is if you run out of special and heavy (a possibility in GM).

Gameplay Loop

1.Begin an encounter with a grenade or a rift cast to unleash Threadlings, Threadling kills will proc Devour.

2.Use your melee ability to grant yourself radiant if possible. (If you are not in range yet, skip to 3 and use melee when in range.)

3.Use The Call on red bars and majors to generate more Threadlings. Use Red Death for emergency healing and barriers or Pro Memoria for tougher enemies or to quickly slay out. Make sure to shoot Tangles for big damage. (Try to avoid reloading Pro Memoria, let reconstruction handle that.)

4.Use rift and grenade on CD to generate more Threadlings and gather nearby orbs and maintain radiant while quickly charging abilities and super.

5.Use Song of Flame to fully charge your light Transcendence bar, generate lots of light and secure kills/clean adds.

6.Transcend. (Always alternate between Transcendence and Song of Flame so you do not need to rely on Red Death for light energy.)

7.Repeat/Win
