When I first put on Rime-Coat Raiment, I felt certain that Stasis was where it should live. Everything synergized so well with everything the exotic did. However, survivability and damage output were not quite on par with other builds.

Enter prismatic.

Prismatic is the midrange builder’s dream subclass. It has a tool for everything and the added ability to tailor your super to your needs and have the backup of Transcendance.

Now, in a build that eats grenades and an ability that matches a subclass that does not have a way to heal, Devour is a no-brainer. That paired with the requirement of running Bleak Watcher rounds out our aspects.

For my build, the only fragment that is required, and the one that I built around, is Facet of Ruin. Your Bleak Watchers now spawn crystals, which plays directly into this fragment.

After deciding on the main aspects and my build-around fragment, it was time for weapons. As I was assessing and testing weapons, I needed them to align with at least one, and preferably multiple of the following requirements:

• Can it clear ads?
• Can it do decent damage to a single larger target?
• Does it play into Facet of Ruin?
• Is it versatile?

Here are the weapons that I landed on:

• Nullify puts in solid damage to single targets AND with Incandescent it can cause ignitions, playing into Ruin. Furthermore, incandescent is also amazing for clearing ads.

• Lost Signal is an ad clearing machine! You can make the pools fill whatever map space you need, hit targets directly or focus down a single target. Being Stasis also allows us to lean into Stasis Shards as an elemental pickup which leans into the artifact this season. This weapon is the most versatile of the bunch!

• Dragon’s Breath is one of the best damage weapons in the game. The damage over time lets you fire it and forget it and will break multiple sets of crystals from Bleak Watcher if the flames stick around long enough. That doesn’t stop it from also clearing ads in a pinch! Pair it with Song of Flame and damage phases will be at your mercy.

• Song of Flame: incredible roaming super that will put out massive damage as well! This pairs nicely with Dragon’s Breath and the enhanced Bleak Watchers to get scorch and shatter damage all at once while doing damage with your super.

• Arcane Needle: this is the best melee at getting kills at ALL ranges and helping ad clear with unraveling targets. Oh, and three charges is nice!

• Healing Grenade: mostly here for the low cooldown for more turrets. However, having healing in a pinch is nice too.

• Phoenix Dive: it is a burst of health and a good way to get out of dodge if in the air. We also have our armor mods set up to grant us grenade energy with using our class ability.

• If in GMs or content that takes a more meticulous methodology, Wicked Implement may be warranted. It has some of the best synergy with Rime-Coat Raiment.

• If you prefer to use the enhanced Bleak Watcher storm as cover, think about switching to Healing Rift.

• Incinerator Snap: great synergy with Facet of Ruin but I always have trouble with the lack of range.

• If you have a small window for damage, swap to a burst super.

• If you need a longer range or precision damage heavy, use Microcosm.

• Exuvie/VS Velocity Baton: I have an Exuvie with Rimestealer and Explosive payload. I’m waiting to Rimestealer/Headstone to drop on that. I am also waiting for VS Velocity Baton to drop at all. I think having this pairing would allow me to add solid Frost Armor generation while not giving up a denial-frame grenade launcher.
