Build Details

How It Works

This build is about getting the best of both worlds.

"Contraverse Hold" is the exotic of choice, personally. Grenade kills activate the perk devour to get regenerative health and grenade progress with each void ability kill. This exotic will refund grenade progression each kill / hit with said grenade.

"Vexcalibur" is the weapon of choice. By getting a few kills / damage with this glaive you will have access to a void over shield. Simply hold your ADS button to activate it.

"Last Discipline" is the armor set of choice. When you have 4 pieces of this armor set, it will grant additional progress to your special ammo meter.

But why use a grenade focus exotic and a melee focused weapon? Simple.

While waiting for guarding stamina with your vexcalibur (for the over shield that lasts for 12 seconds) you can cook a grenade in your hand, get a couple grenade kills, then it'll activate devour. Once devour is active feel free to use the over shield feature on "Vex". Now you have increased duration of an over shield + devour.

Gameplay Loop

  1. Get damage / kills with Vexcalibur

  2. Cook grenade

  3. Get grenade kills for devour

  4. Use Vexcalibur for the over shield feature

  5. Repeat
