PvESecond shot of a burst rips a hole through space-time, doing high damage and recoil with no falloff.
Build Details
This build is centered around the Spirit of the Assassin / Spirit of the Liar exotic Hunter class item, should you be fortunate enough to have it. It should be effective in all content up to raids and dungeons. It might be effective in certain GMs, but there are probably better options out there for those.
Anyway, it does a lot! Including: locking down entire rooms, stunning champs, killing said champs with your bare hands, keeping you invisible and buffed in various other ways, and making lots of orbs. Oh, and it saturates the battlefield with a small militia of strand clones.
Your super and transcendence will be up frequently. Use 'em!
I pair it with a BnS Edge Transit for boss DPS. It's no Nighthawk, but it'll do.
For champs: Dodge to slow + stun overloads, The Call for unstoppables, and barriers are handled by your radiant buff, which you'll pretty much always have.

- Grapple melee, which counts as a grenade attack and a melee attack, and which (when it kills an enemy) will:
- Make you invisible
- Grant one stack of combination blow
- Proc Cross Counter (don't need to kill for this one)
- Create a tangle
- Start health regeneration
- Grant your void weapons volatile rounds and your strand weapons unraveling rounds
- Create an orb, which you'll instantly collect, triggering: - Small health refill - Void weapons buff via surges - Bonus super and grenade energy - Radiant buff
- Note: If you don't kill the enemy with the grapple melee, just skip to the next part and you'll get most / all of these benefits throughout the loop
- Dodge, which will:
- Collect the orb from earlier if it eluded your grasp
- Also, all other nearby orbs
- Slow nearby enemies via stasis aspect
- Create a strand clone via strand aspect
- Proc reaper so next weapon kill creates an orb
- Refill your melee energy
- Collect the orb from earlier if it eluded your grasp
- Melee the next thing you see, which will:
- Hurt the bad guy (a lot, thanks to Cross Counter, combination blow, and synergy with Facet of Courage + slowed enemies)
- Trigger/proc Cross Counter
- Refill some grenade energy
- On kill:
- Make you invisible
- Create an orb, which you'll instantly collect, triggering all orb-collect benefits
- Refill some super energy
- Recharge your dodge
- Start health regeneration
Repeat and use weapons (what are those?) as needed until enemies are dead and you are not.
