Destiny 2 Warlock BuildThreadling God Strand Warlock
PvEHitting targets with this weapon builds a restorative charge. Hip firing at allies while this weapon is charged heals them, does not expend ammo, and fills this weapon's magazine from reserves. Rapid healing increases weapon damage and spawns Threadlings from your allies.
Destroying a Tangle spawns a Threadling. Your Threadlings unravel targets that they damage.
Build Details
Essential Stats: Melee > 100 Class > 100
Non-essential Stats (in order of usefulness): 1. Grenade 2. Super
Champions: Barrier - Hand Cannon Unstoppable - Suspend via Shackle Grenade Overload - Pulse Rifle
Exotic Armor:
- Your exotic armor choice will be Swarmers, leggings that spawn Threadlings when you destroy a tangle as well as allowing your Threadlings to Unravel enemies that they damage.
Exotic Weapon:
- Your exotic weapon and main weapon while using this build will be the new season pass exotic, Service of Luzaku. While filling the heavy slot, there will be NO shortage of heavy ammo thanks to your Threadling army, which contribute to your ammo meter, and your Heavy Ammo Finder mods, Strand Ammo Generation mods, and Strand Scavenger mods. This weapon spawns Threadling Nests, a new Strand feature, which shoot out Threadlings continuously that will seek out your foes. Threadling nests have health bars that can be restored by the hip fire healing function of Service of Luzaku if you have charge available, allowing you to keep nests alive indefinitely as long as you are also getting kills with the weapon itself.
Aspects/Abilities: 1. Weavewalk
- Weavewalk will be the main ability to master while utilizing this build, which will allow us to dodge while airborne and enter the "Weave" becoming nigh invincible with a 95% damage reduction and generating perched Threadlings while in this mode. It is worth noting that you will be draining your 3 melee charges to sustain this mode, which will slowly fade while in the Weave. Also, for however long you are in the Weave, you will be granted a proportionate amount of Woven Mail when you exit, scaling up to 20 seconds, the longest amount of Woven Mail any class in Destiny can obtain at once. I generally recommend only staying in the Weave long enough to generate your full amount of Perched Threadlings or long enough to escape whatever situation you are in if you need to recover.
- Weaver's Call
- Our secondary aspect that will be utilized will be Weavers Call, which allows us to release 3 threadlings upon utilizing our class ability, AS WELL AS any Perched Threadlings we have stored up, such as the ones you gain while utilizing Weavewalk. Secondarily, Weavers Call also allows us to generate more Perched Threadlings simply by dealing damage and defeating targets. It is worth noting that Perched Threadlings can all be released at once utilizing your class ability but that they will naturally "un-perch" themselves and attack enemies that you are shooting/attacking currently, which can be extremely helpful with bosses or yellow bar enemies.
This build utilizes several unique strand aspects and weaponry to overwhelm your foes with an army of Threadlings, clearing entire battlefields singlehandedly, while granting you periods of invincibility to dip out of danger and accumulate even more Threadlings as well as Woven Mail and survivability while not invincible
