Build Details

How It Works

Idea is to get into an ability regen loop that is self sufficient. We’ll have 2 class charges and two melee charges, and with our Swarm Grenade we also have Gunpowder Gamble and Hailfire Spike. Also, Gamblers Dodge means we instantly recharge our melee when using class ability near a target.

Class item is HOIL / Coyote The regen system is a little weird in that using an ability (melee, grenade, or dodge) increases the regen rate of the other two. You may see a power up above your super that says “Enhanced Ability Regen”, but it doesn’t detail which ones or how many stacks are active. Just know the more abilities you use the faster they’ll come back.

Roll Choir with destabilizing rounds and Firefly on a kinetic weapon in primary slot. Kills with explosions from Choir or from Firefly will build gunpowder charges.

This build doesn’t really depend on seasonal artifact mods (Revnant), but feel free to use super nova, power from pain, and anything grenade launcher related. For GM content, you can switch midnight out for pulse rifle for anti champ. I t honk Barrier champs this season (Revnant) has been pretty tough to deal with… shotguns require close range to be effective, and scout rifles seem to take forever to actually bring down a shield. I’d recommend replacing facet of blessing with dawn to deal with GM barriers, or replacing coyote with gryfalcon on your class items.

Gameplay Loop

Start an engagement with single melee then grenade. Use this order with all different grenades as facet of courage will boost damage on light abilities to dark debuff targets, so swarm / gunpowder / hailfire are all affected. Shurikens are sole source of darkness damage so be liberal. If you’re low on health, getting a melee final blow will start health regen and make you invisible.
