How It Works

In a nutshell: Optimized for generating Bolt Charge stacks/sec and having your barricade ready, whenever it mattters!

Yes, this build does not use the seemingly for arc titans manadory Spark of Shock for jolting grenades, but why should you, when using An Insurmountable Skullfort? Even with the option of cooldown resets, you will want high strength for the moments, when it fails, which leaves Strength/Melee a priority, and an optimized super energy generation is preferableto another few secs of grenade cooldown. Jolt damage, actually, will not help generate additional BC stacks, because it can't release them and thus will cap your damage, when they are sitting un-used in reserve, so why build for it? Wasted, I say, and rather use the Spark of Focus, to further ensure I can spam my Rally Barricade to either boost my next Ballistic Slam and ensure an important kill even versus tougher foes, or can always rain down destructive fire from a distance. This way, the powered melee is also a way more reliable way to sustain an arc titans health and enable ridiculous acts of bunny hopping.

Gameplay Loop
  1. Use RALLY BARRICADE
  • get 4x Bolt Charges
  • enables to get more Bolt Charge stacks with further damage instances, including weapons
  • collect Orbs of Power within 18m radius --> +1/3 health bar/orb, gain 1 armor charge/orb for +17% kinetic weapon damage, which will also benefit Bolt Charges released by your Poison Exotic

vs rank-and-file:

  1. SPRINT
  • after 1.5sec will add +150% Rally Barricade regeneration
  1. JUMP
  2. Use BALLISTIC SLAM
  • generate more Bolt Charge stacks and very likely release a Bolt Charge
  • on kill ( including from Bolt Charge ) --> will reset Ballistic Slam cooldown, start health regeneration and proc Knockout heal
  • even if you do not get a kill, you still have Bolt Charge stacks and so can get further stacks by doing damage with a weapon. So a couple of weapon / ( glaive ) melee hits WILL release the Bolt Charge!
  1. Should you fail to get a kill, switch to VEXCALIBUR
  2. BLOCK
  • build up a Void Overshield
  • +20% glaive melee damage
  1. GLAIVE MELEE
  • kills will restore existing Void Overshields
  • kills will generate melee energy, thx to exotic armor

vs challenging foes:

  1. Fire LOST SIGNAL
  • generate additional Bolt Charge stacks with the sticking pool, while you use another weapon
  • prepares Machine Gun for Bait and Switch for +30% dmg
  1. Fire VEXCALIBUR
  • prepares Machine Gun for Bait and Switch for +30% dmg
  1. Fire your MACHINE GUN till the stasis pool runs out
  2. Repeat

Do not be afraid to spam your Rally Barricade to generate additional Bolt Charge stacks. The Sparks of Ions and Focus will ensure, that you will hardly notice a cooldown!
