SUPER Song of Flame - With this build, Song of Flame is both a powerful DPS enhancer and an emergency get-out-of-jail free card. On the offensive (i.e. DPS), it provides radiant and adds scorch to the Praxic Blade. On the defensive, it's great to tank close-range DPS against bosses, or just survive when things are looking grim.

Disclaimer - I don't really know if Song of Flame adds even more scorch stacks when combined with what Impact Core already provides for the Praxic Blade. However, it does add scorch to Sword Storm (from the Artifact), which means faster scorch buildup to ignitions.

TRANSCENDENCE With Sentient Arc Soul (Light), Bleak Watcher (Darkness), and Praxic Blade (Kinetic), you'll be building your Transcendence meters very fast.

ABILITIES Healing Rift (NECESSARY) - Healing from the Rift will proc damage resist with Ferropotent's Rapid Repair. It will also be helpful in tanking damage and healing allies against close-range bosses.

Burst Glide - Best glide.

Arcane Needle - Serves more for Darkness Transcendence energy generation. Unraveling also helps with additional damage, but I'm going to be honest with you: you'll probably not be using your melee ability that often.

Storm Grenade (NECESSARY) - Required to activate Sentient Arc Soul with Getaway Artist.

ASPECTS Feed the Void - You'll be getting a lot of ability final blows, and Sentient Arc Soul will proc Devour often - healing you and providing additional grenade energy on final blows when active.

Bleak Watcher - Activating Sentient Arc Soul will also summon a Bleak Watcher, which will provide Darkness Transcendence energy for faster Transcendence buildup. Slowing, freezing, and shattering enemies will also assist in clearing adds.

FRAGMENTS Facet of Dominance (NECESSARY) - This allows Sentient Arc Soul to jolt on hit, which further increases its damage output.

Facet of Courage - Bleak Watcher slows and freezes enemies, allowing Sentient Arc Soul to deal additional damage.

Facet of Purpose - Picking up an Orb will grant Restoration due to having Song of Flame equipped. Not only will this provide additional healing alongside Better Already, it will also proc Ferropotent's Rapid Repair and grant damage resist.

Facet of Generosity - The Orbs spawned during Transcendence are considered "big" Orbs, which means a large amount of Super energy for your allies. Sentient Arc Soul and Praxic Blade will generate these Orbs easily during Transcendence. This is mainly used in team settings, and can easily be swapped out for another fragment if desired.

The Praxic Blade is a VERY strong special ammo weapon, and deals very respectable DPS. While the Sentient Arc Soul is mainly focused on taking down adds, the Praxic Blade will be mainly used against meatier targets such as orange & yellow bar enemies.

You can easily swap the Praxic Blade mods for anything really, so I won't say any of them are necessary. However, I highly recommend these for the increased damage and ammo generation.

Praxic Blade Mods Setup:

• Offensive Form - 3 successive light attacks will grant ammo, and innately deals increased damage vs. bosses.
• Forceful Blade III - more Impact.
• Impact Core - Melee damage from the Praxic Blade scorches enemies. Due to the final heavy hit in the combo dealing multiple hits in one strike, it'll basically ignite meatier enemies for more damage.
• Energy Conduit - Hitting enemies with a thrown Praxic Blade grants health regeneration.

Sage Protector - Combat Meditation Since Praxic Blade is the main weapon for this build, you'll be generating a lot of Grenade and Rift energy. The reason this 2-piece set is equipped is to provide faster Sentient Arc Soul, ensure you're not left stale when your abilities are uncharged, and to upkeep Healing Rift for both you and your allies.

There are multiple avenues to healing with this build, thus activating Ferropotent's Rapid Repair which grants damage resist whenever you regenerate shields.

• Healing Rift - Constantly heals when inside the Rift.
• Devour - Sentient Arc Soul final blows; final blows while Devour is active.
• Facet of Purpose & Better Already - Orbs printed from Sentient Arc Soul; final blows during Transcendence.

ARMOR SETS

• Getaway Artist
• Sage Protector 2-Piece Perk - Combat Meditation
• Ferropotent 2-Piece Perk - Rapid Repair (NECESSARY)

STAT PRIORITY Grenade - As high as possible, preferably 150+ | Maximum Grenade energy gains and increased Sentient Arc Soul damage. Weapon - 100+ | Increased Praxic Blade damage. Super - 100+ | Maximum bonus Song of Flame energy gains. Class - 70+ | Having at least 70 means decent regeneration speed, and the Sage Protector's Combat Meditation will compensate for the rest.

HELMET MODS

• Ashes to Assets x3 - Sentient Arc Soul final blows will help generate even more Super energy.

ARMS MODS

• Firepower x3 (NECESSARY) - Since Sentient Arc Souls count as a "Grenade", final blows with it will generate Orbs. With Firepower x3, there's virtually no cooldown between Orb generations.

CHEST MODS

• Any Resistance mods - Whatever you feel is necessary for an activity.

LEGS MODS

• Better Already (NECESSARY) - Picking up Orbs will trigger health regeneration, which will proc Ferropotent's Rapid Repair and give you damage resist.
• Kinetic Surge x2 - Having Armor Charges increases the damage of Praxic Blade.

CLASS ITEM MODS

• Proximity Ward - Having a strong overshield during Finishers ensures that you survive in tight situations. It's personally one of the best armor mods in my humblest opinion.
• Powerful Attraction (NECESSARY) - Activating Healing Rift will automatically gather nearby Orbs. Since you'll be generating Rift energy often, this will be very useful in both healing and Super/ability regeneration.
• Time Dilation - Extends the duration of Kinetic Surges.

The Artifact mods this season make the Praxic Blade an almost god-tier weapon for any scenario, but mainly due to additional DPS. However, they are NOT necessary to make the build work. Even without them, the core and efficiency of the build's purpose still functions the same.

Just in case, here is the info on the Artifact mods that make the build even better:

• Kinetic Synthesis - Sustained damage and rapid final blows with Praxic Blade will spawn a "primary brick" which is Kinetic ammo brick. On top of Praxic Blade's Offensive Form, you will never run out of ammo.

• Combination Argent Blade - Landing the full combo from the Praxic Blade will proc Argent Blade, which further enhances its DPS.

• Sword Storm Combo - Landing the full combo from the Praxic Blade will also proc Sword Storm, which will deal additional Kinetic damage to a meatier enemy. The Sword Storm will also scorch enemies when Song of Flame is active.

• Singularity Blade - Devour will be constantly up, so Praxic Blade will weaken enemies on hit, and create a weakening burst on final blows.

• Void Infestation - Since Praxic Blade will be weakening enemies, final blows will spawn tracking Void projectiles.

Note: My personal build philosophy has four rules: 1. The build should be fun to use. 2. The build should be flexible enough to the players' discretion. 3. The build can always be a framework for a stronger build. 4. The build shouldn't solely rely on Artifact mods. I will always list what is necessary for the core of the build, and whatever is not labeled as such can be easily swapped out for something else.

Swap Praxic Blade with Wolfsbane - Wolfsbane with Attrition Orbs is a great alternative to Praxic Blade. It's capable of putting out more damage along with its healing factor from the Nano Assault tornados and Attrition Orbs. This also implies swapping Kinetic Surge(s) with Solar Surge(s) if you want.

Swap Sage Protector with Smoke Jumper with Wolfsbane - Combining both Ferropotent and Smoke Jumper 2-piece sets combined are fantastic for this build due to their synergy with Orbs, multiple healing avenues, and especially with Wolfsbane (with Attrition Orbs).

Swap Bleak Watcher with Hellion - If you're looking for pure damage potential, Hellion provides faster scorch and ignitions against meatier enemies; and you'll be getting Healing Rift back often with Sage Protector's Combat Meditation.

Swap Facet of Courage when using Hellion - If you want to use Hellion for more damage, then this Fragment can be swapped out for another (unless you want the Grenade stat bonus).

Swap Feed the Void - There's a reason why this isn't labeled as "necessary" because its application is mainly to ensure survivability and upkeeping Sentient Arc Soul. However, you already have various sources of healing with Orbs, and Sage Protector may be enough to compensate for grenade energy generation. Feel free to risk the safer option for a bolder and more offensive Aspect. This can also be potentially compensated if you also swap Facet of Generosity with Facet of Mending.

Swap Facet of Generosity - If your teammates feel like their Super/Orb generation is adequate, this can easily be swapped out for another Fragment.

Swap Kinetic Surges - Kinetic Surges aren't entirely necessary, but other alternatives can be Innervation, Invigoration, Insulation, and/or Absolution since you'll be generating a lot of Orbs.
