Exotic SwordFinal blows with this weapon grant stacks of Gathering Light, improving guard stats and lunge range. Stowing this weapon consumes all stacks, granting melee, grenade, and class ability energy.
Using an ability (grenade, melee, or Barricade) empowers the other two abilities. Empowered means abilities have faster regen, melees and grenades do more damage, and Barricades have more hit points.

Synthos variant feels clunkier and more difficult to loop abilities- Ad clear can only go so far in builds
- Other builds have better grenade/melee loops respectively
Build Details
A lot of flexibility in this build.
Could sub HoIL out with Synthos for more melee/super damage but reduced ability regen, Stoicism with HoIL/Star Eater for ability regen and super damage but reduced melee damage, or Stoicism with HoIL/Synthos for ability regen and melee damage but reduced super damage. Could swap Ergo Sum for Riskrunner and swap your primary for a One-Two Punch shotgun or something along those lines depending on the champ stuns you'd need/what you prefer to run.
Highly recommend swapping out Facet of Courage for Purpose and swapping Thundercrash for Blade Fury(make sure to swap siphons accordingly) for any sort of higher end content or a melee-based variant of the build(whether it be Synthos/Stoicism Synthos). This allows the use of woven mail and Shield Crush for more melee damage and survivability.
TLDR, HoIL for low-mid tier content, Stoicism/Synthos for any content higher than expert difficulty.
Choice of heavy is up to user preference. I use Koraxis because I like the weapon :)
On the HoIL/Stoicism variant, try to make the most out of the regen buff it gives and try to keep the buff up as mush as possible. For the Syntho variant, try to fit in a weapon with pugilist/demolitionist/wellspring(whichever is preferred) to help with the lack of ability regen if possible.
