Build Details

How It Works

So for this build only Whirling Maelstrom and Moirai is really a must, other than that it is fairly customizable.The stats, armour set bonuses, weapons and fragments are what I believe amplifies this build to be the best it could be, but feel free to customise as you see fit. Stats: At least 100 class, 50 melee and high grenade. This will ensure that dodging gives full melee energy back and that your grapple melee stays topped off. Armour Set Bonuses: These bonuses are what I believe synergizes with the build best, but is interchangeable as you see fit. Weapons: New Malpais is great for this build, but I would say the catalyst is almost a must, as it causes UNRAVEL, which is one of the largest factors of this build, but, if you want to use Thread of Propagation, basically any strand weapon is fine.

In this build the big thing really is UNRAVEL, as it focuses on gaining two Whirling Tangles at the same time, as well as a strand weapon that can consistently unravel.

I do wish bungie would give tangles or at least Whirling Tangles the same treatment as warlock buddies and let them count as grenades...

Gameplay Loop
  1. Use grapple melee to create tangle.
  2. Use Threaded Spike to destroy tangle and create new tangle once caught.
  3. Throw newly woven tangle.
  4. Use New Malpais( Or Thread of Propagation triggered strand weapon) to unravel targets not unraveled by Whirling Tangles. 5 Repeat once able to create a tangle again.
