Build Details
This build is centered around the Arc Conductor Ergo Sum. Particularly the Wave frame variant. I find this sword to be the most reliable Ergo roll in the game. Assuming you're the only Wave Frame Sword in the group, it's only ~10% less DPS then the optimal single target rolls available, while also providing AoE add clear and Arc Damage Reduction while it's ability is active.
I have about 150k kills on my sword, and it's been a staple build of mine for well over a year now. With the current Artifact Perks at our disposal, the AoE clear of it is at it's highest potential I've ever played with it.
The build provides very high levels of damage reduction, via Woven Mail, Void Overshields, Slow Damage Reduction, Amplified, and Facet of Protection. While also providing healing sustain via orb generation/pickup.
When managed properly, you should virtually never run out of Ergo Sum ammo. Between the ammo generation, high weapon stat, and the Ergo Catalyst providing ammo from Prismatic form grenades, and an LMG to generate bricks you should have near infinite ammo.
In-Depth Explanation
- Throw Grenades to gain Woven Mail, Generate Orbs, and build Inmost Light Stacks for ability looping.
- Throw Melee to slow enemy for DR, kill for orbs, get class ability via slow/Winter's Shroud, Inmost Light Stacks, and gain Radiant before dealing weapon damage.
- Dodge whenever you feel pressured to scoop nearby orbs for sustain, Inmost Light Stacks, slow nearby enemies for DR, and open up the potential to Freeze enemies for more damage to our Sword Heavy attack.
- Heavy Attack with Ergo Sum to activate Arc Conductor for AoE clearing. Be sparing with the heavy attacks on minors, as the Arc Conductor itself can easily dispatch weaker enemies.
- Swap to your LMG when you throw GPG to detonate midair for additional AoE/Damage on the ignition detonation.
- Generate Orbs via Primary Attrition Orb/Kinetic Tremor weapon in the absence of weak enemies for sustain/healing.
- Be aware of how you generate orbs, and leverage them for survival. Grenade kills, Melee Kills, Rapid Arc Kills, and any weapon kill after Dodge will provide you with an orb.
- Leverage the LMG to generate Special Bricks when on low reserves, and pop prismatic for Ergo Sum ammo in a pinch.
