Inmost Light provides us with a very large amount of cooldown reduction to the other two abilities when we use one. 400% at one stack, and 800% at 2 stacks. This makes ability looping possible for this setup.

Synthoceps gives us a 165% boost to all melee damage when surrounded, lingering for 5 seconds when the condition is lost. This gives us more damage on our Combination Blow, Grapple Punch, and our Glaive melee attacks.

1. Ascension - This gives us an alternate way to use our class ability. When used, it will launch us into the air, dealing damage and jolting nearby targets, and providing us and nearby allies with Amplified. Amplified with give us 15% DR, as well as bonuses to our movement speed and handeling speeds. In this build it also gives us a high vantage point to grapple grenade from, both for mobility and ease of use. It also kills nearby enemies, activating stylish executioner.

2. Stylish Executioner - This serves two purposes. One, survival. Being invisible makes you harder to kill. Two, damage. While invisible, your next melee attack is empowered. This build uses Grapple Grenades after Ascension, and Ascension often kills nearby enemies with an elemental debuff, thus making you invisible. If you activate your grapple right after Ascension, you will be invisible without interruption, and gain the full 300% benefit to your grapple punch (alongside Syntho/Combination Blow ramping).

1. Facet of Purpose - This is an essential survival tool on this setup. When you pickup an orb, you will gain a Void Overshield. Void Overshields actively protect health recovery form being interrupted, so when paired with Better Already in the leg slots, it amounts to a very strong source of survival/sustain.

2. Facet of Dawn - While this isn't a weapon focused build, radiant is how we will be stunning Barrier champions. It's also nice to have extra damage for our Corrective Measure in a pinch when we do need some ranged DPS options.

3. Facet of Protection - This provides us with 15% damage reduction when surrounded, which we nearly always want to be to activate synthoceps whenever possible. This bonus is upped to 25% while radiant. It also provides a +10 bonus to the melee stat. We will need ~68-70 melee in total to get our melee refunded when we use our class ability.

4. Facet of Blessing - This will start health regeneration whenever we get a melee kill. This is somewhat redundant because we make an orb on any melee ability kill. But this is exclusively for our Glaive. Glaive melee kills will start health regeneration. If we are invisible, we can go from enemy to enemy and stagger our kills to become invisible with stylish, moving effortlessly through areas while invisible, with health regeneration.

Primary Slot

Festival Flight - Demlitionist / Attrition Orbs - I happened to get a few amazing Festival Flight roll, and I've really been enjoying it. It's origin trait reliably gets me reloads in Fireteam scenarios, and its a great way to clear some adds in the distance. I went with this roll for two reasons. We use our grenade a lot, so it basically reloads itself. And we get a lot of survival when we pick up an orb, so additional orb generation is always welcomed.

If you don't mind reloading the weapon, Blast Distributor is a great way to up our grapple punch damage even further, but frankly we have so much damage already, I'd prefer the utility. Demo also offers us a way to get our grenade back in case our ability loop is broken for some reason.

Energy Slot

Edge of Action - While this glaive doesn't offer damage perks like Vexcaliber and Winter's Bite, it does give us access to a very potent survival tool with its Titan Bubble Jello Mold. Its shot also has built in volatile rounds, so it can be used to add clear from a distance in a pinch if necessary to activate invisibility.

I usually try and charge up 6 stacks and reload a bubble whenever possible so I have one in case I need it. There's a lot of survival tools in the kit, but this is hands down the best. Drop it whenever you're feeling pressured. It's especially fun to save peoples lives with it when they're getting hunted by a Wyvern or something.

Heavy Slot

Corrective Measure - Destabilizing Rounds + Killing Tally - Anybody whose used this LMG extensively will tell you it feels like an exotic. The combination of Killing Tally + Destabilizing Rounds yields immense Add Clearing potential, while not slouching on its single target potential. It's origin trait is basically a whole other perk column on its own. Doubles the magazine size after you use your ultimate (and reloads it from reserves), on top of it providing chunks of super energy on every kill. Mind you, chunk gains are very powerful right now with the stat changes, as they benefit from the full % bonuses of the super stat.

Helmet - x1 Harmonic Siphon, x1 Hands-On, x1 Dynamo - Orb generation on rapid Void weapon kills, and chunk cooldown gains to our Super every time we get a kill with a melee attack, or use our class ability near enemies.

Arms - x3 Heavy Handed - This ensures we are making an orb every single time we get a melee kill. At x1 its a 10 seconds cooldown, 5 at x2, and 1 seconds with x3. Generating an orb on kill is used for survival, as well as cooldown reductions to fuel our ability loop.

Chest - x1 Melee Damage Resistance, x1 Concussive Dampener, x1 Harmonic Ammo Generation - We are up close and personal, so the combination of Melee Damage/Concussive Dampener provides us with a strong counter to AoE melee attacks that would otherwise hurt very badly. Some additional ammo generation for our void weapons.

Legs - x1 Better Already, x1 Innervation, x1 Strand Scavenger - Better already when paired with Facet of Purpose gives us superb sustain. Whenever you pick up an orb, you will gain Void Overshields, which will protect health recovery from being interrupted. Innervation is essential for our ability loop, since we make an orb on every melee kill we will be getting a lot of our cooldown to grenade back on every orb. Strand scavenger is here because scavenger mods are especially potent on single magazine weapons like BGLs and Rocket launchers. This lets me be more liberal with my Festival Flight usage.

Cloak - x2 Bomber, x1 Powerful Attraction - The two bombers help fuel our ability loop by giving us grenade energy on class ability use. Powerful attraction ensures we are scooping up nearby orbs for sustain and cooldown reduction.

The build has a lot of things working together to ensure we can spam abilities off one after the other. I'll breakdown what happens on each ability use.

Combination Blow - Kills refund Dodge, and generate orbs that will lower our grenade cooldown.

Grapple Grenade - Generates an orb on every kill, reducing its own cooldown by a chunk.

Gambler's Dodge / Ascension - Refunds Melee, partially refunds Grenade, scoops nearby orbs to further lower your grenade cooldown.

Each of these also activates a stack of Inmost Light, even further increasing the rate at which the cooldowns come back. When looped Combination Blow Kill > Ascension > Grapple grenade, you should be able to do this on repeat over and over again assuming there's enemies to kill.

My in game stats for my live build are as follows.

Health 33 Melee 70 Grenade 140 Super 95 Class 70 Weapon 75

Health - Nuke this stat, it serves little to no purpose for us in PvE

Melee - 68-70 is mandatory to get a 100% refund to your melee from class ability. One would think this would be the stat focus for this setup given its a melee build, but investing over 100 in this stat to 200 only yields a 15% gain. It's not worth the stat investment when the % gains to Grapple punch are MUCH more noticeable because grenade offers twice the % damage gains per point past 200.

Grenade - 120-150 - This is the stat we want to dump all our extra into, it will scale our grapple punch damage, which is already pretty absurdly high.

Super - 80-100 - We want this to be pretty high to scale the chunk super gains we have in our helmet, from our orb generation, as well as kills with Corrective Measure due to its origin trait.

Class - 68-70 is also mandatory to get 100% class ability refunds from Combination Blow kills. Going over offers very little to the build.

Weapons - This is entirely up to you if you want to nuke this stat/have the gear to do so. You could invest more into Grenade instead. I still use my weapons fairly often, and would prefer to get the damage bonus to add clear for my Festival Flight / Corrective Measure. Anywhere from 0-80 seems reasonable for this build for this stat.
