Build Details
The purpose of this build is to serve your Fireteam as a supportive tank, managing revives and pacing Fireteam aggression. Bastion serves to enable engagements in for one's fireteam, proccing Singularity Blade for yourself and allies. Unbreakable is the safety net for disengaging or managing revives.
Lumina serves to further enable aggression into fights, in addition to enabling allies to disengage. Lumina also serves as Barrier Stun in Endgame Content. On the subject of stunning Champions, this build supports stuns for all 3 types, with Riposte dealing with Unstops, while Shield Bash, Suppressor Grenade, and Unbreakable will all handle Overloads.
Velocity Baton serves to feed Echo of Starvation and Absolution, keeping ability energy at its peak. While this weapon is the general ad clear for this loadout, tagging a Boss or Champion before the Fireteam swinging in with Swords is a preferred strategy to extend high DPS engagements as Health and potential Surge Mods are fed for allies too.
Falling Guillotine or Sullen Claw work to enable expedient traversal and engagements, while also supporting Void synergy.
Sentinel Shield, the centerpiece of Ursa's, is the ultimate pacer of aggression, as it churns out Orbs and refeeds allies Supers, while also enabling their own high DPS output. The downtime of Sentinel Shield is complimented by Lumina regarding buffing ally DPS. These two work synchronically to enable high DPS outputs at every turn of an engagement, resulting in even faster Super generation for the entire Fireteam.
On the subject of Super Generation, Echo of Reprisal fits this build nicely to essentially serve as Perma-Thresh, granting an additional 1% Super for every kill while surrounded. This pairs nicely with our Double Dynamo Armor Mod, as it incentivizes aggressive positioning and Super energy from our Barrier cast when surrounded.
The other fragments of significance here are Echo of Exchange and Echo of Expulsion. The former working to offset our Arms Mods with Momentum Transfer, the later offering greater output and impact from our abilities.
Lastly is the Ferropotent Armor Set. This serves to enable a healthy ammo cycle for keeping Velocity Baton topped off. Additionally, players can sub out the Double Dynamo for a Finder+Scout of choice to further lean into the Support Role, although this is also FT dependent. The DR buffs essentially serve to fill the gap of whenever Overshields are broken and health is in jeopardy, buying the player valuable seconds to reprocc Devour or wait out a cooldown for the next Overshield.
This build is not the flashiest regarding ad clear or DPS output, but it does tank like no other, enables aggressive high DPS engagements from allies, and permits Super chaining.
