🪐 What This Build Is We’re bringing Sunbracers back from the vault with this Solar Warlock grenade spam build. It’s fun, powerful, and great for clearing groups of enemies easily in the new expansion.
🧤 What Sunbracers Do Exotic: Sunbracers (Helium Spirals)
Solar grenades last 2 seconds longer and can be thrown further.
Get a powered melee kill, and you’ll see “Sunbracers Ready” for 5 seconds.
If you throw a grenade during that window, you get insane grenade regen (~20,000%) to spam 4–5 Solar grenades back-to-back.
This means you can cover the field in grenades, dealing huge area damage over time.
🔥 Aspects 1️⃣ Touch of Flame
Makes Solar grenades last even longer, up to 8 seconds with Sunbracers,
Solar grenades will emit Solar Flares, adding constant burn damage.
2️⃣ Heat Rises
Allows you to consume a grenade to heal (2x Cure = ~120 HP).
Defeating enemies while airborne grants extra melee energy (20–50% depending on enemy type), letting you recharge Sunbracers faster.
You only need small hops to activate the airborne bonus.
🥊 Abilities Melee: Incinerator Snap (instead of Celestial Fire)
Easier to secure kills for activating Sunbracers consistently.
🪐 Fragments Ember of Resolve: Heals you (Cure, ~60 HP) on Solar grenade final blows.
Ember of Searing: Gives melee energy on defeating Scorched enemies, helping recharge Sunbracers.
Ember of Char: Ignitions spread Scorch to nearby enemies.
Ember of Ashes: Builds Scorch stacks faster, leading to more Ignitions.
Since the Fever and Chill artifact mod grants Radiant, you don’t need Ember of Torches unless you can’t consistently maintain Radiance.
🛠️ Artifact Synergy Fever and Chill: Grants Radiant (bonus weapon damage) when defeating frozen/slowed enemies, letting you skip Ember of Torches.
Shieldcrush: While Radiant, you get +25% grenade damage and +25% grenade energy.
Elemental Coalescence: Generates extra Firesprites when rapidly defeating enemies.
Elemental Overdrive: Picking up Firesprites boosts Solar weapon damage by 10%.
Cauterized Darkness: If using Stasis or Strand weapons, +30% Solar damage against debuffed enemies.
🔫 Weapons Since you’ll be spamming grenades and melees, you’re free to use a variety of weapons:
Solar weapons with Incandescent or Burning Ambition (play into your Scorch/Ignition loop).
Stasis/Strand weapons (to trigger Cauterized Darkness bonus damage).
Great Exotic options:
Sunshot (Solar explosions)
Icebreaker (Stasis synergy)
Skyburner’s Oath (Solar synergy)
Avoid Finality’s Auger or Dragon’s Breath, as they may steal kills needed to proc Sunbracers.
🛡️ Armor Stats Prioritize Discipline (grenade stat) for damage, not regen.
At 200 Discipline, Solar grenades get +30% damage.
Use Resilience and Recovery as secondary stats for survival.
Since Heat Rises and Ember of Searing refill melee energy easily, you can invest extra stats into Intellect (Super) or Mobility.
If you need more regen:
Run Font mods (like Font of Focus) with Armor Charge generation mods (Harmonic Siphon, Heavy Handed, Firepower) to maintain your charges.
💡 Summary – Why This Build Rocks ✅ Spam 4–5 Solar grenades with massive uptime. ✅ Heals from grenade kills and Heat Rises. ✅ Consistent Ignitions and Scorch for add clear. ✅ Leverages new Edge of Fate artifact mods for extra damage and energy. ✅ Easy to keep Sunbracers active with Incinerator Snap + Heat Rises. ✅ Flexible weapons let you tailor to Solar, Stasis, or Strand synergies.
If you want a fun, ability-focused Warlock build that can clear entire waves while healing you, dust off your Sunbracers and give this build a spin in Edge of Fate.
Step 1: Consume Grenade for Heat Rises Step 2: Use Melee on Low Level/ Weak Enemy Step 3: Spam Grenades (Hop in the Air) Step 4: Use Weapons if Needed Step 5: Melee More Enemies to reactivate Sunbracers Step 6: Use Super vs dense enemies
