Why Strand Over Prismatic? One of the biggest benefits of running Strand over Prismatic is access to Banner of War, a Titan-exclusive Aspect that provides huge survivability and melee damage buffs.
How it works:
Defeating an enemy with a sword, glaive, powered melee, or even an unpowered melee activates a 10-meter aura (Banner of War).
While active, the Banner pulses healing to you and nearby teammates every few seconds.
1 stack: Restores 20 HP every 2.5 seconds
4 stacks: Restores 20 HP every second
Any final blow from you or teammates within the Banner adds to its duration, up to 30 seconds.
On top of healing, the Banner grants huge melee and weapon damage buffs:
+40% damage to powered and unpowered melees
+25% glaive melee damage
+10% sword damage
(Note: Synthoceps and Wormgod Caress reduce these bonuses)
Why it matters: Banner of War is essentially Titan’s version of Well of Radiance but built for aggressive close-quarters combat. To make the most of this, we’ll be leaning into melee combat and keeping ourselves constantly in the fight.
Survivability: Into the Fray & Woven Mail The second Strand-exclusive Aspect, Into the Fray, gives us constant uptime on Woven Mail, which is a 45% damage reduction buff.
How we activate it:
Picking up and throwing a Tangle pulses 15 HP healing to you and allies.
When a Tangle is destroyed, it grants Woven Mail for 10 seconds.
Stacks with other resistance bonuses from Resilience, weapons, and mods.
Woven Mail also provides:
300% increased melee ability regeneration while active.
Stronger synergy with seasonal mods and Artifact perks.
This all ties in perfectly with Sever, another key mechanic of the build.
New Artifact Mods: More Damage, More Survivability With Vile Weave equipped:
Throwing a Tangle Severs enemies, reducing their damage by 40%.
This works alongside Frenzied Blade, Tangles, and any weapon with Slice or Tear.
With To Shreds You Say equipped:
Dealing damage to Severed enemies causes them to Unravel.
Unraveled enemies take continuous Strand damage for 8 seconds.
The upgraded version increases damage by:
+10% for Unraveled enemies
+25% if they’re also Severed
Another major perk: Defeating Severed enemies now grants Woven Mail to nearby allies and heals for 15 HP.
This setup lets us: ✅ Keep ourselves and teammates alive ✅ Reduce enemy damage output ✅ Deal significantly more damage with abilities and weapons
Super Damage Buffs & Bolt Charge Synergy With the Limit Break mod:
While Woven Mail is active, our Threaded Fury Super deals +30% extra damage—perfect for melting Champions and Bosses.
We’re also integrating Bolt Charges into the build:
Photonic Flare: Killing Severed enemies with Arc damage triggers a blinding explosion.
Dielectric Mod: Defeating Arc-debuffed enemies generates Bolt Charges.
Flashover: Bolt Charges deal +150% extra damage.
For high-end content, swap Limit Break for Debilitating Blast:
Stunning Champions triggers Bolt Charges, jolting nearby enemies and healing for +55 HP per stun.
Ideal for Grandmaster Nightfalls and other tough activities.
Best Weapons & Ammo Generation To maximize effectiveness, we’ll use Artifact mods like:
No Bell: Free special ammo for legendary Glaives (which also get a damage buff from Banner of War).
Dreadful Finisher: Generates special ammo when performing finishers on high-value targets.
Gold From Lead: Picking up special ammo bricks also generates Heavy ammo.
Best weapons to use:
Glaives: Refusal to Call, The Rake Angle, Nezarec’s Whisper, Forthcoming Deviance
Double special loadouts: Thanks to easy ammo generation, you can comfortably run double glaives, double swords, or even double shotguns.
Pair these mods with armor mods like Finder, Scavenger, and Reserve mods to ensure constant ammo for your high-powered weapons.
Final Touch: Best Fragments We can equip 4 Fragments, and here are the best picks:
1️⃣ Thread of Fury – Grants melee energy when dealing damage with Tangles. 2️⃣ Thread of Generation – Faster grenade regeneration from dealing damage. 3️⃣ Thread of Warding – Picking up an Orb grants Woven Mail, keeping damage resistance up 24/7. 4️⃣ Thread of Continuity OR Thread of Ascent –
Continuity: Extends Sever & Unravel duration (better for consistent debuffing).
Ascent: Reloads weapons on ability activation (better for weapon-focused builds).
Final Thoughts This Berserker Titan build is one of the strongest we’ve ever had. With Banner of War, Into the Fray, and new Artifact mods, we have: ✅ Insane melee and Super damage ✅ Constant healing and survivability ✅ Massive team support and damage reduction ✅ Synergy with Bolt Charges for extra explosions and crowd control
