Destiny 2 Titan BuildUNKILLABLE Strand Strongholds (Renegades)

Strongholds! Yes, yes I know... but hear me out: this isn't your typical "hold block and do nothing" build. This is a Strongholds build as it's intended to be.

You'll be using the Swordmaster set - the Renegades Pinnacle armor. 2pc applies Exhaust - 25% DR - to enemy outgoing damage on any Sword hit, and 4pc which grants 50% DR for 3 seconds after guarding with a Sword.

This is where Strongholds comes into play. Blocking with Strongholds grants you 50% DR, plus its other effects of granting you x2 Restoration and essentially infinite blocking while dealing damage with Perfect Guard active. But that's not what I want to highlight; when you stop blocking you lose that 50% DR - with Swordmaster's 4pc bonus you effectively get to keep that 50% DR for a few seconds and can use Strongholds much more offensively.

The Impact Core on your Praxic Blade will also apply Sever - 40% DR - and yes: this does stack with the aforementioned Exhaust and any other DR you may have. Hyperblade catalyst for Amplified.

Note: you'll want to turn off the Armorsmith Artifact Perk as that will override the 50% DR. You also do not want Ferropotent's DR effects as that will also override the 50% DR effect.

But that's not all: Strand and Stasis Subclasses synergize with this build perfectly. I've went for Strand here, but Stasis is just as good too. Banner of War improves Sword damage by 20%. Banner of War also heals you and nearby allies too. Into the Fray grants Woven Mail - yet another DR source of 45%.

Thread of Ascent for bumping up your Weapon stat. Generation for getting Grenade energy return. Warding for quick Woven Mail application. Continuity for longer Strand debuff durations.
