EXOTIC OVERVIEW – MELAS PANOPLIA The Melas Panoplia gauntlets come with a powerful intrinsic perk called Forge Master, which is specifically tuned for Solar Titans. Not only do they look incredible—giving off serious matador warrior vibes—but they finally give Solar Titans something we've been begging for: the ability to recall the Throwing Hammer.

Here’s how Forge Master works:

Trigger it by collecting a Firesprite or landing rapid Solar final blows.

Once active, Forge Master lasts for 11 seconds.

During this time, you can instantly recall your Throwing Hammer without needing to run after it.

Perfectly timing your recall—right after your hammer hits an enemy—creates a Solar explosion on its return, dealing bonus damage to enemies in its path.

Your Throwing Hammer still heals you via Cure when picked up and deals 487 base damage. But with Forge Master, that hammer becomes a reliable, explosive boomerang of destruction.

WHY THIS IS A GAME-CHANGER Let’s be honest, the biggest pain as a Solar Titan has always been chasing down our hammer. Melas Panoplia fixes that—and then some.

By giving us an offensive recall mechanic and freeing us from hammer fetch quests, this exotic will excel in ad-heavy content, from Lost Sectors to Nightfalls and raids.

SOLAR SYNERGY – ASPECTS AND FRAGMENTS

Sol Invictus – Defeating enemies with Solar abilities or Hammer of Sol creates Sunspots, which:

Grant Restoration for 5 seconds,

Greatly increase grenade and melee regeneration,

Scorch enemies who enter them.

Roaring Flames – Solar ability kills (including Ignitions) stack a bonus to your ability damage:

Tier 1: +20%

Tier 2: +44%

Tier 3: +73% With 3x stacks, your hammer can reach up to 842 damage per hit.

And when Roaring Flames is active, even your uncharged melee scorches enemies and counts as a powered melee, letting you trigger mods like Heavy Handed for Orb generation.

🔶 Fragments:

Ember of Ashes – +50% Scorch stacks, faster Ignitions.

Ember of Char – Ignitions scorch un-scorched enemies, improving AoE potential.

Ember of Eruption – Increases your Ignition radius by 20%.

Ember of Solace – Extends Restoration and Radiant buffs by 50%.

(Restoration from Sunspots now lasts 10 seconds!)

Optional swap: Ember of Torches for Radiant weapon damage when using melee on enemies—if you want more weapon synergy.

Great synergy with melee-focused builds. 🔸 Dragon’s Breath – Creates Firesprites and scorches everything. Strong synergy and AoE potential. 🔸 Legendary Picks:

Aberrant Action (Rocket Sidearm) – Heal Clip + Incandescent = health and scorch.

Solar Shotguns – Look for Trench Barrel, Pugilist, or Grave Robber.

Note: One-Two Punch doesn’t work with Throwing Hammers, so avoid it.

IKELOS_SG_v1.0.3 – Great for close-range DPS with damage-boosting perks.
