Today, we’re focusing on a fresh variant of the infamous Prismatic Consecration build.
For the most part, this build remains similar to how it’s been in recent months, but we’ve made a few key adjustments.
Synthoceps are an excellent exotic choice for a Consecration build, and since they’re a featured exotic class item perk, you have two main ways to run this build. If you’re using an exotic class item, I find that the Spirit of Severance is a great option for bonus area damage, but if you want to maximize ability uptime, Heart of Inmost Light would be a superior choice.
A significant change in this new variant is swapping out Knockout for Diamond Lance. Slamming a Diamond Lance allows you to instantly trigger Frost Armor for you and nearby allies. You’ll also gain the benefits of Frost Armor through Facet of Purpose and your Glacial Quake Super.
Utilizing Diamond Lance gives you an easy way to slow and freeze enemies, which synergizes perfectly with artifact mods like Hail the Storm. This mod increases damage when shattering crystals and frozen enemies, and it releases small shards that slow nearby enemies when a crystal is shattered.
While Crystalline Converter could boost your Shiver Strike damage, I prefer using Frenzied Blades for the additional three Consecration slams, which are much more beneficial for this build—especially since you’ll be generating plenty of Stasis Shards to refill your melee energy.
Since Consecration keeps you up close to enemies, Armor of Eramis is an excellent addition. When Frost Armor is active and you’re critically wounded, you’ll release a slowing burst to nearby enemies, making it easier to control large groups of ads.
We could still use Shackle Grenades to suspend enemies before slamming, but to double down on Stasis effects, we’re opting for Glacier Grenades. With Facet of Ruin, the shattering explosions will deal more damage over a larger radius.
One major benefit the new artifact provides is the ability to trigger Devour. By using Concussive Reloader, you can weaken enemies with grenade launchers when damaging higher-tier enemies or breaking shields. Pair this with Power from Pain, and you’ll trigger Devour when defeating weakened enemies, giving you bonus health regeneration and grenade energy with every final blow.
For even more survivability, you could incorporate Stasis precision weapons and use the Wind Chill mod to enhance the Frost Armor that your Diamond Lance and orb collection already provide.
This new variant of the Prismatic Consecration build may miss out on the amplified benefits that previously boosted ability regeneration and survivability. While it might not be as strong as it was during Echoes, this remains an extremely formidable build for Titans.
