How It Works

Video Coming Soon... When Hazardous Propulsion was first introduced, it gave Titans an exciting new build option to experiment with. Its utility became even more apparent when Rocket Sidearms were introduced, quickly solidifying its position as a powerhouse in the right hands.

Now that we've transitioned into the Revenant season—emphasizing Stasis gameplay and Grenade Launchers—you might be wondering how well this Exotic holds up in the current meta. That’s exactly what we’ll explore today as we dive into an updated Prismatic Titan Build.

This build leverages Hazardous Propulsion, an agnostic Exotic that synergizes well with any subclass. While it works great with the standard Arc and Solar setups, pairing it with the Prismatic subclass takes it to the next level, offering enhanced survivability and increased damage output.

Key Traits of Hazardous Propulsion The Exotic’s Danger Close intrinsic trait charges Exodus Rockets with precision hits, weapon kills, or successive eliminations. These rockets are deployed via your class ability and provide a significant temporary damage bonus depending on how many rockets land on enemies. With full charges, you’ll unleash devastating burst damage followed by a weapon damage buff, making this Exotic a top-tier choice—even in a season focused on Grenade Launchers.

How It Works Charging Rockets: Precision hits and weapon eliminations progressively charge Exodus Rockets, with the charging speed varying by weapon type. Rocket Sidearms, in particular, excel in rapidly building charges. Deployment: Activating your class ability unleashes homing rockets that target enemies in your field of view or even those behind you. Each rocket deals 600 base damage and is classified as kinetic, benefiting from weapon buffs like Radiance or Weapon Surges. Damage Buffs: Landing rockets grants a damage bonus that scales with the number of successful hits—starting at 10% for one rocket and capping at 35% for six rockets. To maximize this bonus, ensure no obstacles block your rockets’ trajectory when activating your class ability. Class Ability Synergy Given the need for mobility and a clear line of sight, Thrusters are the ideal choice for activating Exodus Rockets. They allow dynamic movement during combat, unlike barricades, which can obstruct rockets and leave you vulnerable.

Weapon Interactions The damage bonus from Hazardous Propulsion applies to various weapon types, including:

Rocket Launchers (Legendary and Exotic) and perks like Explosive Light or Bait and Switch. Exotic options like Gjallarhorn’s Wolfpack Rounds and Dragon’s Breath Ignitions. Mini-rockets from the Nanotech Tracer Rockets origin trait found on Neptune weapons and Quicksilver Storm. This flexibility makes it easy to adapt your loadout to different activity modifiers and challenges.

Optimizing the Build: Prismatic Subclass & Artifact Mods The Prismatic subclass provides critical bonuses to survivability and damage. Key fragments include:

Facet of Dawn: Grants Radiance for a 25% weapon damage boost, stacking with the Exodus Rockets buff. Facet of Courage: Adds a 10% Light damage bonus against enemies affected by Darkness debuffs like slow, sever, or freeze. Facet of Hope: Increases class ability regeneration by 60% while under elemental buffs like Amplified or Devour, ensuring consistent Exodus Rocket usage. Facet of Protection: Provides up to 32% damage resistance when surrounded, making this build exceptionally durable. Artifact mods further enhance the build:

Concussive Reload: Weakens high-value targets for a 15% damage debuff using Grenade Launchers. Power from Pain: Enables Devour, boosting health regeneration and grenade energy after enemy defeats. Conductive Cosmic Crystal: Adds 5% bonus Arc/Void damage to abilities and Dark Ether origin trait weapons when attacking slowed or frozen enemies. Recommended Loadouts For weapons, consider combinations like:

Tinasha’s Mastery, Ex Diris, and Crux Termination. The Call, Forbearance, and Grand Overture. Tusk of the Boar, Centrifuse, and Crux Termination. Additionally, prioritize weapons with the Disruption Break trait to grant a 50% kinetic weapon damage boost, further amplifying Exodus Rockets’ potential.

Stat Prioritization & Mods Focus on Resilience (Tier 10 for damage resistance and faster class ability cooldowns), Strength, and Discipline. Use mods like:

Helmet Siphon Mods for Orbs of Power. Heavy-Handed for melee energy generation. Reaper to create additional orbs post-class ability activation. With this setup, Hazardous Propulsion remains a standout Exotic, delivering incredible versatility and firepower, even in this Grenade Launcher-heavy meta. Whether tackling endgame content or general gameplay, this Prismatic Titan Build will help you dominate the battlefield.
