Exotic Submachine GunDealing damage while grounded charges antigrav repulsors. Dealing damage while airborne extends antigrav repulsors. [Alternate Weapon Action] to disengage antigrav repulsors.
Using an ability (grenade, melee, or Barricade) empowers the other two abilities. Empowered means abilities have faster regen, melees and grenades do more damage, and Barricades have more hit points.
Build Details
This build allows you to become an absolute TANK. Void Shields are your best friend. Giving you more "health" and increased damage reduction.
Sources of Void Overshields:
- Unbreakable (Holding grenade button)
- Shield Throw (melee)
- Picking up an orb (Facet of Protection)
- Defeating a weakened enemy (Artifact)
- Manticore (While airborne)
Use your Diamond lance or strand weapons after getting a powered melee kill to spread darkness debuffs so that your light abilities will deal more damage.
Any source of weaken will empower you void abilities. Your axes from Twilight arsenal already cause weaken, though you could also run Buried bloodline as an extra source.
Weapon multi kills or weapon kills after using your barricade will create orbs.
Orbs give:
- Overshield
- Radiant
- Weapon Damage
- Health
With HOIL you want to use all of your abilities as much as possible. Key Tips:
1) When running low on health, Use your melee or 'Unbreakable' for instant overshield 2) After using Unbreakable, pick up the Diamond lance for instant burst damage (Or instant freeze on a target) 3) Melee hits on those frozen targets will deal more damage + create another Diamond lance 4) Use your strand weapons after melee kills to spread unravel
