How It Works

In the new Episode, Titans are getting 3 big changes.

#1 - First, Our barricade will not only take less damage and give use more protection to splash damage, but it’s also getting a pretty major rework to taunt enemies. Now we can provide a bit more safety and security for our team.

#2 - The Second update we are getting is to Diamond lance. We are getting some much needed HUD updates to show how long your lance will be active. The other big part of this update is that slamming a diamond lance into the ground will give you and nearby allies 2 stacks of frost armor. This is huge since we can infinitely spawn spawn diamond lances by getting ability kills. Remember that frost armor gives 4.5% Damage Resistance per stack and caps out at 5 stacks with 22.5% DR. So If we keep creating and slamming Diamond lances, we will consistently have that 22.5% DR active.

#3 - The Third major update is coming to Void and our Unbreakable aspect. Unbreakable will now generate grenade energy making it a bit easier to get it back quicker. The other major part of this is Void Overshield. In the past Void Overshield has been a bit underwhelming, but not any more. Void Overshields can now cap out at 180 HP nearly Doubling your health, plus their DR is getting buffed to a whopping 70%…

meaning that with just these 2 updates we can more consistently proc Frost armor and Void Overshield to take 77% less damage on a regular basis.

For the exotic you have a few options. An exotic Class item is the best option since we are on prismatic.

In the left column I’d go with Spirit of Inmost light as the main option for extra ability energy and spirit of the bear so you gain more super energy when blocking with unbreakable.

In the Right column I’d go with Spirit of the Star-Eater as the main option to deal a ton of burst damage on bosses, with spirit of the Armamentarium or spirit of scars as back up options.

If you don’t have an exotic class item with any of these, you can take doom fang pauldrons to gain back a ton of super energy and consistently gain max stacks of Void Weapon surge.

Gameplay Loop

So what does this look like in action? Well, You want to remember to use your unbreakable shield often. This not only gives you a ton of DR and overshield, but will also weaken targets and give you volatile rounds on kills. Any ability kill will create a diamond lance which you can slam into the ground to deal a bunch of AOE damage and gain that extra DR. Remember to consistently use your void weapons to create orbs which will give you even more overshield, weapon damage and a bit of grenade energy.

In easier content, I like to save my grenade for the boss, so that I can use the unbreakable shield to weaken the boss and immediately use my super to get a bit more extra damage and if you have enemies near you, you can use you shield throw to spawn a diamond lance which you can use to reload your weapons.
