Exotic Linear Fusion RifleThis weapon marks targets with an automated targeting system. Final blows on marked targets generate a telemetry pattern. Collecting a telemetry pattern grants ammo to this weapon. Collecting 3 telemetry patterns without dying grants this weapon bonus damage for a long duration and refills the magazine.
Build Details
- I opted for a Prismatic build so that I could take the Exotic Class item with Spirit Scars. That way all of those kills with your machine gun and Lorentz Driver will proc Spirit of Scars giving you restoration for 3 seconds. You do have to take the Twilight Arsenal super to match the void weapon damage, but this still gives you some good burst DPS on Bosses and pairs nicely with one of our fragments. Ideally you want to have class exotic with Spirit of inmost light in the left slot as well to spam those abilities but it isn’t necessary.
For the rest of the build I went for a build pretty similar to consecration spam since it’s still one of the strongest options for titans, offering you a ton of healing from knockout, and a ton of ad clearing from the ignition damage. This also allows you the room to use your abilities in between getting weapon kills to help conserve your ammo a bit more as well.
I did opt for the Shackle grenade for 2 reasons,
- First, It can be hard to hit the crit on some enemies. So enemies like champs, you can easily suspend them and Immediately melt them with Lorentz Driver.
- Second, Shackle causes a target to be ‘Suspended’ and that even includes bosses even though they aren’t technically stunned in the air.
That’s important because Suspend is a Darkness Debuff meaning that we can take Facet of Courage. That way we can easily throw our shackle grenade at any target and they immediately take 10% more damage from our Consecration Slams and our Super. Which is why I always start a DPS phase by throwing a shackle grenade then immediately popping my twilight arsenal.
We then Take Facet of Ruin to increase the size of ignitions, Facet of Purpose to gain Void Overshields when picking up orbs, and facet of Protection to gain 15% Damage resistance while surrounded.
Lorentz Driver will Occasionally mark a target, and this happens whether you have the weapon stowed or readied. That means you can use your abilities, Alternate Special weapon, or even your heavy to get kills and start working up those Telemetry Patterns. Once I collect 2-3 I pull out Lorentz Driver since it now becomes a weapon built for any situation. At 3 stacks, the extra 50% damage boost means this thing hits like a tank, not seriously, this thing does as much damage as a heavy linear with BNS active. (Side by side of 3 stacks of Telemetry and BNS clips) So you can easily melt minibosses or simply kill any enemy to cause those implosions wiping out groups of enemies.
