How It Works

Bolt Charge progresses at 15% of magazine (rounded down) +2. That +2 is less significant the larger the magazine.

Perks like Onslaught that boost fire rate and reload speed are amazing.
Rapid Fire or Adaptive Auto Rifles are the best primaries.
Trace Rifles are the best specials to use primarily.
Area Denial GLs can build some good Bolt Charge too.
Rapid Fire or Aggressive Machine Guns are the best heavies.
For craftable or enhanceable weapons use the Synergy Mod for extra Ionic Traces.
Exotics:
- Thunderlord is fantastic and generates its own Bolt Charge.
- Coldheart is the best Trace Rifle option because it generates Ionic Traces.
