How It Works

Today, we’re diving into a game-changing Nightstalker build featuring a lethal combination of two exceptional Exotics and some powerful artifact mods. This Void setup is perfectly tuned to tackle all the latest endgame challenges.

Let’s jump right in with the star of the show—Gyrfalcon’s Hauberk. While it shines on Prismatic setups, today we’re focusing on its incredible synergy with the Void subclass. With Void, you gain access to overshields, Devour, and weakening effects that make this Exotic truly shine.

Gyrfalcon’s Hauberk comes with the See Me, Feel Me intrinsic trait, offering some fantastic benefits:

After emerging from invisibility, your Void weapons gain volatile rounds for 9 seconds, enabling them to pierce Barrier Champion shields and trigger devastating Void explosions. Performing a finisher while invisible activates a 6-second, 35% damage buff for all Void weapons. Finishers also provide a reserve overshield (45 HP), granting 70% damage resistance and a massive boost to your class ability regeneration until activated. When used strategically, this setup allows you to deal immense damage to single targets and mobs alike, all while ensuring survivability with nearly infinite overshields.

Weapon Synergy While Gyrfalcon’s works beautifully with any Void-centric loadout (think Graviton Lance, Le Monarque, or Leviathan’s Breath), this build reaches its peak potential with the Slayer’s Fang Exotic shotgun.

Slayer’s Fang Highlights:

Stuns Overload Champions. Creates submunitions on impact that weaken enemies and deal significant damage. Grants a 15% boost to precision damage when its intrinsic perk is active. Deals 10% bonus damage to Fallen and Scorn, making it ideal for specific activities. Provides Void overshields through its Repulsor Brace catalyst, triggering on defeated suppressed, weakened, or volatile enemies. This weapon allows Nightstalkers to excel in close-quarters combat, complementing their usual mid-to-long-range dominance.

Void Subclass and Fragments This build uses Trapper’s Ambush for melee invisibility and Stylish Executioner to chain debuffs and invisibility. Key fragments include:

Echo of Persistence: Extends invisibility and overshield durations. Echo of Starvation: Grants Devour from Orbs of Power or Void Breaches, ensuring durability and grenade energy regen. Echo of Undermining: Weakens enemies with grenades. Echo of Harvest: Creates Orbs and Void Breaches when defeating weakened enemies. Together, these elements ensure a steady stream of buffs, overshields, and Void explosions, keeping you in control of every fight.

Artifact and Armor Mods With artifact mods like Debilitating Waves (weaken enemies with finishers), Supernova, and Thick of It (generating Armor Charges), this build is all about maximizing Void damage and survivability. Use your Armor Charges for Weapon Surge mods to sustain increased damage or Utility Kickstart for faster dodge cooldowns.

For armor stats, prioritize:

Tier 10 Resilience for 30% damage reduction. Tier 10 Mobility for faster dodge cooldowns. Grenade energy from Devour and melee energy from Gambler’s Dodge allow flexibility in Strength and Discipline allocation.

Closing Thoughts This build revives Gyrfalcon’s Hauberk to its former glory and elevates it with the Slayer’s Fang and new artifact mods. Whether you’re clearing mobs or taking on high-value targets, this setup is a top-tier choice for Hunters in Destiny 2.

As always, links to DIM and Mobalytics for this build are in the description. Let me know your thoughts on Gyrfalcon’s, Slayer’s Fang, and the state of Hunters in the comments below!

Thanks for watching, and see you out there, Guardians!
