How It Works

Orpheus Rig Exotic Perk: Uncanny Arrows Effect: Provides additional Super energy for each enemy tethered by your Moebius Quiver or Deadfall Super, and gives additional shots to Moebius Quiver. Benefits of Using Orpheus Rig for Void Hunters: 1. Enhanced Super Energy Return Maximizing Super Usage: The Orpheus Rig's primary function is to return Super energy based on how many enemies you tether with your Shadowshot Super. The more enemies tethered, the more energy you get back. In PvE activities, this means you can potentially get most or even all of your Super energy back after one cast, allowing you to use your Super more frequently. This is especially effective in high-enemy-density scenarios like raids, dungeons, and Nightfalls. Super Refund Efficiency: The boots can refund up to 50-80% of your Super energy in optimal situations, allowing you to tether frequently, providing constant support and control over the battlefield. 2. Increased Shots for Moebius Quiver Moebius Quiver Shots: Orpheus Rig provides extra arrows for Moebius Quiver, making your Super more effective. Instead of the default number of shots, Orpheus Rig gives you additional arrows, allowing you to tether more enemies and deal more burst damage with each shot. Increased Damage: Moebius Quiver is not just about tethering; each arrow deals significant damage, and with more shots, your overall DPS in boss encounters increases. This makes the Orpheus Rig a viable option for both add control and boss DPS phases. 3. Add Control and Debuffing Enemies Tethering for Crowd Control: Whether you’re using Deadfall or Moebius Quiver, Shadowshot tethers enemies together, rendering them vulnerable and reducing their ability to attack. This provides incredible crowd control in PvE, particularly in activities with large enemy waves. When you tether enemies with Orpheus Rig, not only are you neutralizing them, but you’re also ensuring you can repeat this process quickly due to the energy refund. Weakened Enemies: Enemies tethered by your Shadowshot are Weakened, meaning they take increased damage from all sources. This debuff is essential for team play in higher-end content like raids and Grandmaster Nightfalls, as it allows your fireteam to deal significantly more damage to enemies caught in the tether. 4. Team Support and Orb Generation Orbs of Power Generation: When you tether large groups of enemies, you generate multiple Orbs of Power for your team, enabling faster Super regeneration for everyone. This is especially valuable in endgame PvE content, where having more Supers available for your fireteam can be the difference between success and failure in difficult encounters. Debuff Synergy: The Weaken effect from Shadowshot also applies to all tethered enemies, which synergizes well with team damage strategies, allowing your fireteam to burn down bosses and other high-priority targets faster. 5. Versatility in PvE and PvP PvE Focus: In PvE, Orpheus Rig shines in activities with high enemy density, like raids, strikes, dungeons, and public events. The constant Super energy refund means that you can use your Shadowshot more frequently for crowd control and damage debuffing. PvP Utility: While less common in PvP, Orpheus Rig can still provide benefits in modes like Control, where tethering zones can shut down opponents and refund Super energy for future uses. However, the Super regeneration aspect is much more effective in PvE due to the larger number of targets. Void Aspects and Fragments Synergy Vanishing Step Aspect: This aspect allows you to turn invisible when dodging, which complements the Orpheus Rig build by giving you survivability and mobility while waiting for your Super to recharge. Stylish Executioner Aspect: Defeating Weakened enemies (like those tethered by Shadowshot) grants you invisibility and Truesight, allowing you to navigate the battlefield more efficiently and set up strategic plays. Echo of Persistence Fragment: This Fragment increases the duration of buffs like invisibility, which pairs well with the tether debuff. You can stay hidden longer after using your dodge or Stylish Executioner, making you harder to kill while setting up another Super. Echo of Reprisal Fragment: This Fragment gives you Super energy on final blows when surrounded, which synergizes with Orpheus Rig’s ability to maximize your Super uptime.
