Build Details
The goal of this build is to Suspend as many targets as possible through the Ensnaring Slam Aspect. This Aspect is tied to class ability, so Sixth Coyote is the preferred exotic due to it granting two charges of Dodge. Marksman's Dodge is used for the shorter cooldown as dodge will almost be exclusively used for Ensnaring Slam.
This playstyle involves diving into groups of enemies, and survivability is tied to collecting Orbs of Power which are created from Grapple Melee kills or through Siphon mods. If playing more difficult content in which Grappling into groups of enemies is more threatening, Shackle Grenade can be utilized for a safer playstyle.
After Suspending a group of enemies, kill them by means to create an Orb of Power and for more class ability energy from the Thread of Mind Fragment. Picking up an Orb of Power will give Woven Mail from Thread of Warding and a small heal from Recuperation for survivability.
Weapons of this build are purely preference, just be sure to match the elements of the mods with the element of the weapons you choose to utilize.
- Activate Ensnaring Slam into a group of enemies to Suspend them
- Defeat the Suspended targets, preferably with Grapple Melee to create an Orb of Power via Heavy Handed OR a Strand weapon to create an Orb of Power via Siphon mods
- Pick up an Orb of Power to gain Armor Charge for Weapon Surge, heal, and gain Woven Mail
- Repeat
