Destiny 2 Hunter BuildDouble Goldie All the Way

This build is primarily for Boss DPS, but with Prismatic has a solid neutral game.

The bulk of damage is from having Celestial Nighthawk and 2 sources of Golden Gun in your super and Still Hunt. The other primary source of damage is with Apex Predators with Reconstruction and Explosive Light. Both Still Hunt and Apex Predator are solar, so the two Solar Weapon Surge mods boost these weapons.

The damage rotation has a lot of moving parts, but can be easily mastered. Before a boss is vulnerable activate Transcendence and throw a grenade to have it explode as the damage phase begins. You can also pre-pop Golden Gun (both your super and Still Hunt's) to lessen downtime of waiting on animations during DPS. Throwing a Withering Blade will activate Radiant from Facet of Dawn and boost Golden Gun's damage by slowing the target and activating Facet of Courage.

Now that the initial damage steps are done, shoot your Golden Gun super and then Still Hunt's Golden Gun. This brings Still Hunt to 5 shots. Swap to Apex Predator and shoot 2 rockets. While you do this the Solar Holster mod will reload a Still Hunt shot bringing it up to a full mag of 6. This allows you to swap back to Still Hunt and land all 6 shots to get the sniper's Golden Gun back. Landing these shots will also Sever the boss from Facet of Solitude. Shoot the super again and then swap back to Apex Predator which will have 2 rockets passively reloaded from Reconstruction. Continue this juggling between Apex Predator and Still Hunt.

While dealing damage use Marksman's Dodge to reload Apex Predator to quickly shoot 4 rockets and collect Orbs of Power from Powerful Attraction to fuel Solar Weapon Surges. Being Radiant from getting a Withering Blade hit will also boost Dodge's cooldown when slowing targets with Winter's Shroud.

The neutral game primarily revolves around Stylish Executioner and the use of stasis, Withering Blade, and Duskfield Grenade. Killing an enemy with any of these slow debuffs from Stasis will make you invisible and give you truesight. You can also leverage this with your primary weapon by using a Stasis weapon with Headstone. The Headstone perk will also take advantage of Facet of Ruin making the explosions of Stasis Crystals larger and deal more damage. Use this stasis primary weapon to make Orbs with Stasis Siphon. Collecting Orbs created from stasis weapon kills and powered melee kills will grant Restoration from Facet of Purpose.
