Deadlock's NYC Map features a jungle section between the three lanes, where players can encounter Neutral enemies, also known as Jungle creeps. Jungle camps can have different power levels and spawn at different times. Knowing when and how to take them will let you get additional Souls during matches.
In this article, you'll learn everything you need to know about Deadlock's Jungle camps and Neutral enemies, including their power level and respawn timers and the best tips and tricks to make the most out of them.
Neutral enemies spawn in dedicated camps all throughout the map. They can have different levels and grant a set amount of Souls to every player who assisted in killing them. Their HP, Damage, and amount of Souls dropped increase with match duration.
Neutral Creeps
Currently, all regular Neutral Creeps in Deadlock share the same appearance, being a green, one-eyed monster that attacks by firing energy beams at the player, dealing Weapon Damage.
Mid-Boss
The Mid-Boss is a very powerful Neutral that spawns below the center of the map and grants the ability to revive when defeated. Check out our dedicated Mid-Boss guide here.

Neutral Stats and Soul Rewards
There are three types of Neutrals: Small, Medium, and Large, with higher stats and rewarding more Souls based on their power level.
If multiple players attack a Neutral, the Souls will be split evenly across all allied players who helped.
Neutrals become stronger as the match goes on: They gain 2.1% health and 0.5% damage every minute, and drop up to 2 more Souls per minute, based on the Neutral's power level.

Sinner's Sacrifice
Starting at minute 8, some Jungle camps can contain Sinner's Sacrifice vending machines alongside Neutral enemies. These machines drop Souls when hit by a melee attack, and players have a chance to hit a Jackpot to obtain Permanent Stat Buffs.
Sinner's Sacrifice machines only take damage from melee attacks. They have 500 HP. A quick melee deals 50 damage, and a heavy melee deals 100 damage.
Each time the machine is hit, it deals 60 to 80 damage back to the player, for a total of 320-640 damage depending on the number of hits.
Soul Rewards
Each Sinner's Sacrifice machine holds 310 Souls in total, increasing by 3 Souls per minute. Each quick melee attack grants 5% of the total value (15+ Souls), and a heavy melee attack grants 10% of the total value (30+ Souls). The last hit on the machine grants 60% of its total Soul value (170+ Souls).
Jackpot - Permanent Buffs
When the machine takes 400 or more damage, it will begin the Jackpot minigame, where the lightbulbs start lighting left to right, the slots quickly turn, and sound effects are played. Hitting the machine when all the lights are on will cause a Jackpot, granting 1 Permanent Buff to the player if it was hit with a quick melee, or 4 Permanent Buffs if it was a heavy melee attack. Permanent Buffs offered include: Fire Rate, Max Ammo, Cooldown Reduction, Weapon Damage, Max Health and Spirit Power
Neutral Jungle camps Tips and Tricks
Learning how to take jungle camps efficiently is a hard Skill in Deadlock, as you'll have to find the right time to take down camps whilst keeping an eye on lanes and enemy heroes. These Tips and Tricks will help you find your footing and guide you to the best jungle timings.
Learn camp timers
Each type of camp has its own respawn timer; learning it and taking into account camp respawn timers when playing will lead to more efficient Soul farming.
Push lane, then clear camps
To maximize the amount of Souls you collect, pushing your lane and then going for jungle camps is a great strategy. If you can take down creeps faster than the enemy laner, it will leave you with some downtime until the next wave, and you'll be able to use that time to take Jungle camps. Ideally, you come back to lane as both waves clash again to avoid losing lane agency, but it is okay to delay as long as you make sure you do not lose any creeps.
Lane creeps give more Souls than anything else in the game, so you do not want to miss out on them because you took too long taking jungle camps.
Best Time to clear each camp type
Small camps spawn at 2:00, but at that time you should instead focus on pushing the lane or grabbing boxes and statues. It is most efficient to start taking down small camps around the 3:00 minute mark.
You can take on medium camps as soon as around minute 6:00, but they might be too difficult to take if 3 Medium Neutrals spawn. If so, request an ally to help or just go to another camp.
At minute 8:00, you should push the wave and try to take a nearby Sinner's Sacrifice camp immediately, focusing on taking it down with heavy melee attacks to receive less damage. Staking Jackpot buffs throughout the game will make you much stronger.
Large camps can be efficiently taken at minute 10:00 and later. After this time mark, you should focus on Medium and Large camps and forego Small ones to maximize your Soul income.
Fully clear camps near your base
Each camp has 3 Neutrals, and the respawn timer will only start after all of them are killed. If you leave one or more Neutrals alive, the camp will not respawn. Fully clearing camps is especially important when taking camps near your base, as your team will be able to farm them often.
Do not fully clear camps near the enemy base
Applying the same logic, if you're able to push your lane or invade the enemy part of the map, you can choose to intentionally leave out one or more Neutrals in their camps to disrupt their respawn timer. This is often a better choice than fully clearing a camp near the enemy base, as it will lead to the enemy team receiving fewer Souls.
Guarantee Jackpots
The Jackpot is arguably the most important part of Sinner's Sacrifice machines, and learning how to hit it is crucial for securing extra buffs. Prepare a heavy melee attack right when the second-to-last lightbulb turns to guarantee you hit the Jackpot and get 4 Permanent Stat Buffs.
